“Went to many stores to get the $6 deal on toasters and coffee pots to donate. So many stores are a mess and no stock. Went to the store in Barkhamsted, Ct and they were helpful, had stock and a clean store!”

The only suggestion I have for management is to offer a secure app for your delivery, as you may get more customers. I know I would opt for delivery, but I'm not comfortable Ieaving my credit card on a voicemail.”
“Who doesn't love to save money?I'm a huge fan of this Aldi, it's usually not too busy. I hardly ever have to wait at the self checkout line. The customer service was good; I doubled scanned some grapes and the cashier assisted promptly.The items are well stocked. I always see the employees stocking the shelves. Only one time I went in after dinner and the prepared foods were empty (pizza, lasagna, etc.) Overall, the store is clean and well organized; it's easy to find the items I needed.Don't forget a quarter for the cart and your reusable bags. There is an area where you can bag your food. Also, the parking lot has plenty of spots.”
“This is a really nice place for lunch and a great scenic location! Sandwiches are so delicious and tasty! Normally we would give it a five star rating and usually the staff are EXTREMELY COURTEOUS and friendly, but the lady, behind the counter was extremely rude and unpleasant, not only to me but also to another customer, which I observed the interaction with! There was no reason why I should have been subjected to this treatment??? I was taken aback. Not the friendly service and interaction we have normally received at this store! Disappointed!!!☹️☹️”

“The story of the country store dates back from the mid-1800s. It primarily revolves around the cheese and how the recipe hasn't changed for over 150 years. I can tell you one thing for certain, that's some of the best cheese I've ever had. Definitely recommend putting it on a grinder and getting a toasted cold cut combo with the cheddar. It has to be the best grinder I have ever experienced. Easy 5 stars for this gem.”

“I'm pretty surprised to see the ratings on this Whole Foods so low. Without a doubt it is the best Whole Foods I've ever been to. The selection can't be beat and the little extras like the mochi ice cream section and variety of macarons are great. Their store setup makes it easy to find whatever you need. The store is always clean and organized and fully stocked whenever we visit. The food is fresh and the quality and variety of products make this store special. The customer service is exceptional. I never met a single person who worked here that wasn't friendly or helpful. Love shopping in this store!”
“This grocery chain is a little on the pricier side compared to its competition. However, it's clean, well stocked, and has a great prepared foods section. On the weekends, it gets busy.The produce was fresh; had the clementines and they were the sweetest. The meats counter had a unique selection to choose from. We had the Chinese sausages and they were delicious.I walked by the sushi section and the chef was rolling up fresh rolls right before lunch time.If you have a sweet tooth, I recommend their dollar chocolate pies, SO GOOD!Checkout: they have quite a few self checkouts available and an associate ready to assist. Bring your own bags or pay 10 cents per paper bag. Overall, it's a good spot to get some of your grocery needs.”

“They're a great place to grab a couple things if you're in a hurry it's kind of like the food section of Ocean State Job lot but it also has produce and refrigerated and frozen section items as well. The prices are excellent but it's Hit or Miss if you're looking for something specific.”

The 5 Star rating for Shope Rite of Canton was given because of the value provided by my no-cost appointment with this store's Dietitian, Hannah Dipanfilo.
As a recent retiree who's trying to stay in shape, I was very pleased that a short session with Ms Hannah provided me with easy, helpful ideas on menus that fit my caloric needs...and my lack of desire to spend a lot of time in the kitchen !
Do yourself a favor and do as I did - go see the Dietitian Hannah Dipanfilo at Shop Rite of Canton !”
“I would rate this store as a 4 because staff have been helpful, and I have found some things there that I don't find at other stores or that are often out of stock at other stores. Their prices are a bit steep. Ironically, I hear that many customers that shop here manage to have many accidents in this parking lot... to the point that one customer died as a result of their injuries. For this reason, I would recommend that the store install speed bumps to prevent more accidents in the future. If they do not, I would suggest being on alert at all times in the parking lot.”

“One of the best looking DGs I've been to. The curb appeal was also pretty. When I went on a Sunday, it was pretty quiet. I try to go on Saturdays because you can use their $5 coupon.From what I saw, the shelves were pretty organized and clean. I did notice some employees stocking the shelves; hence the pile of items waiting to be unloaded on the aisles.They had a mix and match, buy one get one 50% off aisle that was disorganized. We bought two items and didn't get the second one 50% off. We read the fine print regarding which items were excluded but since the aisle was disorganized, we weren't sure if it was truly part of the sale. I think they should keep all items that were on this particular sale promotion in one spot so it's easy to find; items not part of the sale should be separated.Overall, it is one of my favorite stores and I'm glad that there is one close to me.”

“Fun fact: Stop and Shop (in Rhode Island) was my first job as a teenager; it's come a long way since then.
They now offer employee discount and a higher starting wage. This particular S&S is really new and high-tech looking. They have better self scan systems and handheld self scanners. I recommend using the self scanners to save on time; just make sure you have a stop and shop card. The self scan kioks were a little finicky but once you're used to it, it runs smoothly; they have security in place and alerts the employees of any issues. The employees at the self checkouts were very helpful. They still have the S&S card, you can easily sign up at the service desk or online, to get sale items. If you don't have a card, just ask the employee to scan one for you.
The service provided by the other employees there on our recent trip was good; deli and seafood counters specifically. The aisles were organized and fully stocked; the prices were average to above average (it's no Aldi). My kids were very entertained by the robot roaming around! (And so were we) We surely didn't have that back in the early 2000's; we've come a long way with technology. Parking was plentiful and when we went (Friday evening) it was quiet. This has become my new favorite Stop and Shop!”
“This review is for the florist department. I came in tonight in a pinch as my fiancé is getting out of the hospital tomorrow and I wanted to make sure a nice arrangement was in place. I usually have flowers delivered but again, I was in a pinch. Helena, the florist manager was nothing short of fantastic as she made me a beautiful arrangement and was super helpful. I honestly couldn't have been happier and I'm now kicking myself because I usually spend double the price from an independent florist. I will now be using this Stop and Shop's floral department with all of my floral needs. Thank you again Helena, you created a beautiful arrangement, were an absolute pleasure to chat with and Stop and Shop is fortunate to have you! I'd recommend this florist department to anyone!”
