Stopped into this stop looking for a small cabinet for my kitchen. The owner, John was super nice and helpful. He walked through the entire shop with me, showed me everything he had. Even helped me measure a few things to make sure they'd fit. He even offered to keep an eye out for something if I didn't see something I liked. I was able find what I needed. But how sweet was that? If you're looking for a piece of gently used furniture, art, home decor etc...you should definitely check them out.

We have so many great items from Litchfield Emporium over they years. A butcher block table, a cocktail set in a knights helmet, dessert plates, cocktail glasses, various articles of furniture. All kinds of great items here and prices are always reasonable. Highly recommended!

What a WONDERFUL shop. The owner is vibrant, engaging and very friendly.Take your time browsing or you may miss a treasure. Items are very fairly priced and in pristine condition. A wonderful resource to help furnish or decorate your home. I will be popping in often! I just enjoyed the shop so much!

An eclectic and fun store. We purchased many beautiful lamps from here, and we make a point to visit when we come up from Virginia. John has great taste and this store is among the best you will find. Open Fri, Sat and Sun.

So glad I stopped in during my weekend trip to Morris! I found the most beautiful decanter set that hadn’t even been tagged yet. It was waiting for me—clearly! Lol. The owner was so friendly and patient in answering all of my questions. He had so much adorable things for prices that can’t be beat. Thanks for the amazing customer service, John! Your shop is exceptional!

This is an excellent place to BUY from. I always find things I would love to own! I have gotten decent prices for things I have brought in to sell. However, over the years two of my items have been lost or stolen, and one piece was broken by a customer. There was no offer to compensate me for any of them--not even an apology or expression of regret--so I will no longer be bringing in items to sell. If you do want to sell something, my advice would be to get a receipt with a date, complete description of your item (a photo would be great) and estimated value. That way, if something goes wrong, your lawyer might be able to help you out. My records were "lost" in the store's computer system, or perhaps never entered, so you will need some sort of record to keep for yourself.
