Popped in for a look around for treadmills and learned a ton about what to look out for when buying one. Of the 3 fitness equipment places I went to, this was the first one that I truly felt like I was being informed, not sold to. Will be back on Friday to make final selection.

Total Fitness Equipment exceeded my expectations! Their knowledge about the products helped me make an educated decision. I chose a Landice treadmill with the ortho upgrade and am extremely happy with its performance. Delivery was within a week and well done. They were on time, courteous, and careful with my purchase and home. Given the size and weight of the machine I am glad I received professional delivery and setup. For anyone currently looking, Landice has a great promo going on. The quality and warranty are excellent.

Like everyone else I was searching for a treadmill in the midst of the pandemic. I came across Total Fitness because I'd heard good things about the place. We got there as soon as it opened and there was one person manning the entire store. He was incredibly helpful in explaining the differences and features of the treadmills even though he had tons of work as he had just returned from vacation. We ended up picking one and he was also very honest in setting expectations for delivery (especially since there was none to be had right away). He also suggested a mat to protect my floors. Once it came the delivery guys were friendly and competent in advising me on where I could put it and also how to maintain it going forward. They set everything up and I didn't have to worry at all. Definitely Total Fitness for high quality product and excellent customer service!

Bought a squat rack, bench, barbell, and some plates. Very knowledgeable and were willing to drop off directly at my house which was a huge help because we only have a sedan. Thank you!

Excellent store! During the summer of 2020, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, my husband and I drove 2 hours from the Boston area to Avon Ct. to purchase an elliptical machine at Total Fitness there. New gym equipment was hard to come by then. The store in Avon was beautiful, spotless, and everyone was respectful about wearing masks. We were greeted by Gary, who works in all four Total Fitness stores. Gary was wonderful. He was relaxed, friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He was never pushy about making a sale. He was able to answer all of our questions and help us understand the differences among the various machines. Every machine was shiny clean and in excellent condition. Luckily for us, they were willing to deliver to the Boston area. Even the delivery experience was top-notch. The delivery men were efficient, pleasant, and patient with us about positioning the machine in exactly the right spot in the room. The whole experience at Total Fitness was super positive for us in every way. Thank you so much, Gary. We are enjoying our elliptical machine every day!

I am so pleased that I decided to purchase my treadmill at Total Fitness. Dealing with a local business is so much more personable and rewarding than with larger fitness companies.Gary was thorough , extremely knowledgeable and took the time to demonstrate all of the options.The communication with Rob regarding delivery and set up was great also.

Agree with the other comments. Sales wasn’t pushy and helpful. Very pleased with the sales experience. made a large purchase on an A50 elliptical. Now waiting from someone from their distribution center to call me to set up a delivery. On the invoice says no returns which is kind of scary if there is a defect. I didn’t find many bad reviews on this model or for this store which is a good thing. Will update on my delivery experience.

I cannot say enough good things about this store. Bought Matrix tread mill was delivered the next day. I had some issue with the console and Matt the owner made sure I was completely satisfied and exchanged it for another one. Professional and friendly, I will not shop for fitness equipment anywhere else. Tom who helped me select the tread mill was very knowledgeable. Thank you so much. Nahid Attarwala Simsbury

Bought a treadmill and row machine from this place. Very friendly, knowledgeable and honest staff. I came in after doing tons of research on fitness equipment mainly treadmills and as I said not only was my salesman extremely knowledgeable and honest about the products he sold but we also ended up talking about nutrition and other fitness related topics for a good hour.
