“My wife and I went to Raymour & Flanigan in Avon (CT) to "test-drive" an Avocado mattress, as the chain is the only local place to afford that opportunity. First of all, the showroom was beautiful. Our salesman, Bob, was informative and engaging. And, we were respectfully given space to discuss our options and make a decision. We ultimately decided to purchase the pillow-top model, which was delivered within 24 hours of the purchase. Our first night on the new mattress was good overall. The fact that we have four months to adequately evaluate the purchase is even better. So far, so good. Thank you!”

We haven't been able to sleep in our bed in weeks due to back pain, but I was apprehensive to get a new mattress because I couldn't imagine a comfortable firm mattress. I was so wrong! “Pompanoosuc Mills is magnificent! When my wife and I were renovating our dining room, we searched at length for a company that employed American carpenters and cabinetmakers, used sustainably harvested wood supplied by American lumber companies, and sold furniture directly to their customers at competitive prices. Pompanoosuc met these criteria. We visited its store in West Hartford, Connecticut and asked for guidance in selecting several pieces of furniture, including a table, chairs, sideboard, and console. Kristen, the saleswoman, devoted hours to our exploration and related inquiries. She was very knowledgeable. Equally important, she was patient. Our interactions with her were always pleasant; we would not have realized the objectives of our renovation without her thoughtful guidance. After we submitted our order, Kristen and the store’s manager, Rebekah, were conscientious in keeping us informed throughout the manufacturing process. On delivery day, my wife and I were impressed by Ian and Nate as they carried the furniture from their large Pompanoosuc truck the length of our driveway to our house. They arrived with hearty handshakes, took off their shoes to avoid damaging the floors, and positioned the furniture exactly as we requested. And every piece of furniture was perfect!All aspects of our experience as customers of Pompanoosuc Mills were spectacular. “I'll be very honest with my review. I began shopping at Crate and Barrel after seeing them on social media and deciding to check it out. First, they have the sophisticated rustic style that I love, but I struggle to choose the right pieces for my home. We have a beautiful house that could use some updating with the right pieces, but I never had any help with as customer at Pottery Barn for the past 5 years. Also, I never felt welcomed there, except by two of their employees.
In contrast, at Crate and Barrel, I feel welcomed, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. This prompted me to replace some furniture and pieces in my house. I had a meeting with a wonderful designer from Crate and Barrel at my home to update some rooms. Darla who came to my house to check it, is not just an amazing Crate and Barrel designer; but she's a wonderful person who suggested the perfect choices for us. Without a doubt, my future shopping will be at Crate and Barrel. Not only because their pieces are gorgeous and high-quality, but they exceeded my expectations in every way. I couldn't be more satisfied and happy.

“I called ahead to check availability for a specific twin mattress and metal frame I wanted to get for my 3 year old son. I was surprised when John told me they have both in stock and I could pick up today! When I got to the store John greeted me right away, he showed me the mattress and frame in store and he actually had both items loaded up on a cart ready to go for me. It was such a quick and easy experience especially having my two young kids with me. Also they had a great sale going on and I got the mattress for an amazing price. I am very happy!
