The pharmacy staff at the Avon CVS is awesome!! We switched all our Rx to this store due to the outstanding customer service and efficiency they provide!

I understand that you want to have sales but when you hang the B1G1 on the shelf you hide the products. Next: if a customer only needs 1 bottle of something, why not let customer use a coupon?

This is a rating for their minute clinicI came to the store recently at 7 pm. I waited several minutes visible at the front desk as the nurse was chatting with a customer (not healthcare related, I could hear their conservation and they both saw me). I interrupted quickly to ask if my 7 year old could be seen for an ear ache, the nurse said yes. Since she was still chatting I walked over to the children’s medications grabbed a few things and came back, which was no more than 3-5 minutes. It was now 7:15 and they were chatting this whole time. When the customer finally left I was told they close at 7:30 and my child would not be seen. I asked the nurse why she said my son could be seen and then changed her mind. She said she meant tomorrow when she said yes 5 minutes ago and that they are closing now even though she admitted closing is at 7:30 not 7:15. I was honestly appalled.

I arrived at 10:25 for my 10:30 appointment at the MinuteClinic, tried checking in on their computer system and it told me 3 times that there was no record of my appointment. For 10 minutes, I tried checking in, then sat to wait for someone who could help me. In the meantime, a gentleman used the computer and was successful, he was called in. I told the woman who called him in that I had a confirmation code for my 10:30AM appt that was not working and instead of helping me, she asked me to keep trying to use the computer and that she was taking the man in.I took time off of work to get this physical done. I would go to my PCP, but they are booking into August and I need to get this done for my new job. I was so happy that CVS offered physicals, but I will not be going back to this store. The total lack of empathy, support, and/or time given to help me figure out what had happened to the appointment in their system (I had texts and emails from them just this morning reminding me about my appointment...) was so upsetting. Even an "I'm sorry" would have helped.

My name is Larry and I had been happily using this pharmacy for 14 years without any problem until recently. The two senior women both named Laura are very unprofessional. Instead of solving the issue by answering a phone call, they blame patient and insurance company. In a life threatening situation, they tend to argue and show little sympathy. Finally another pharmacist walked out and resolved the issue literally in three minutes.

Ok, what happened here? A few weeks ago, at the Canton CVS, I bought a few small gift bags, bday cards, gift cards and candy for my niece's and nephews birthdays. I just needed 2 more, and hoped I could find the same things at this location, since I was just next door having brunch earlier. This store is so understocked and the shelves are bare...I thought maybe they were in the process of rearranging the store. There were barely any cards or gift bags to choose from. The size bags I needed were not there. None of the birthday cards I looked at were appropriate or remotely funny for the kids I was going to be giving them to. I checked around for more cards but no luck (Canton CVS has 2 rows of them) I wanted to match the candy and give the same things I gave the other kids but that wasn't happening either. Only one pack of twix on the shelf, only one king size kit Kat. No swedish fish. Only 1 Mr goodbar. They did have the gift cards so I at least got those, but will need to go to the other CVS for the rest.

Never have a problem at this CVS, staff are usually cheerful and helpful. The pharmacy closes at lunch time for an hour so just make sure to plan around that. They're very good about follow up and are efficient. The drive thru moves fairly quickly. They have a minute clinic and were available to give flu shots and Covid boosters this year. Plenty of parking, convenient location. They're always able to answer my questions. Took off 2 stars today due to pharmacy error where wrong prescriber was contacted for refills and I have been without medication for 7 days. No apology for mistake when pointed out to pharmacy. First negative experience, mistakes happen I understand, but a little apology goes a long way if pharmacy has made an error.

I love this CVS. The staff is always friendly and quick to offer assistance when needed. They also have many unique items that I haven't seen anywhere else. Admittedly, the prices can be higher for groceries than at other stores, but if you find yourself looking for a new pharmacy (the main reason I go in the first place), look no further!

I went to CVS in Avon, CT today to pick up a prescription for my sick mother. When I arrived there, for no known reason, the prescription had been canceled by the Dr’s office. Pharmacist Artemis went right to work to help me rectify the situation. She got on the phone with the urgent care center, and worked with the APRN there to get the prescription re-issued. Then she immediately went to work filling the prescription for my mother while I waited. It is rare to find such a quality customer service as these folks provide, and I want to offer my sincere thanks for all that they do. Kudos to Artemis!!!!
