Yes, they've been around forever and are at a convenient spot but I'm here to comment on the horrible TV commercials. I guess they are meant to be funny but I find them to be extremely annoying to the point where they actually make me not want to shop there. They need to come up with normal, straight forward commercials that are made for grown-ups and not kindergarten kids.

Great friendly staff, knowledgeable and helpful. Try to support our local business Carr Hardware is worth a visit in the Avon area has lots of the basics and might save you a trip out of town.

My favorite hardware store, bar none. All the reasons I hate Home Depot, are the reasons I love Carr's. The people who work there from the manager, Mark, through the sales staff, know where everything is and will walk you to it. They are friendly, professional, and helpful. The store is big enough to have a few of just about everything but not so big that you put 3000 steps on your Fitbit just to find and buy a few items. Recently I took my gas grill in for them to check why the burner wasn't working. The manager immediately assessed the problems, fixed them and sent me on my way with a working grill. And as an added bonus they laugh at my bad jokes. Shout out to Nick.

Stopped in for some hardware and the young woman was so nice and helped me out tremendously. Would recommend over any big box store. So nice to know places like these still exist in a world we live in today. Kudos to you and your staff. You just gained a customer for life.Thank you

This store has a big selection of things - everything from carpentry to lawn care to plumbing and painting. The staff here is very friendly and helpful, without being pushy. Some items are a bit expensive, but small stores can't compete with mass marketers. For most of your at home needs, this is a great store.I'm updating this review, 4 years later: I have to say that every time I've gone into this store, I've been treated kindly and with respect. The people there are curious about my level of knowledge about what I need for a job, but never assume I know nothing. I consistently feel welcome here, the folks who work here don't talk down to you. I keep coming back again and again because it's just SO different than my experience going to big hardware chains. No one assumes I'm incapable - they just help you however you need. THANK YOU!

I embarrassingly brought an Ace hardware coupon to this location and the store manager chuckled and honored the coupon. He later clarified that this location was not an Ace hardware affiliated establishment but that he would still like to keep my business. I insisted on paying full price, but he wouldn't let me. Definitely will return here for future purchases, the service is excellent.

For a $2 purchase, Penelope spent about 20 minutes finding the right size screws and washers then completed the repair herself without being asked. During that time she was polite, friendly and patient. An amazing experience that earned a new loyal customer.Thank you.
