Drove two hours after arranging to see truck this afternoon. No response after messaging that I had arrived. Waited half an hour- NO response. One star is too good for this business........Take your $$ elsewhere.

Horrible. Called and spoke to them prior to going to view the truck. I made sure to have him state if there were any dash lights on and he assured me there were not any. Drove 3.5 hours down to see the truck. It was rotted, had body damage that was hidden in the pictures, and there were 4 dash lights on. Complete waste of time due to dishonest sellers. Avoid this place. This review is from 2020.

Buyer beware. It all started when I bought the vehicle. I picked it up on the way to work one day. I drove it to work and then back home with no issue. Total distance is not even 5 miles. I start the car the following morning and the check engine light pops on. Thank God they gave me the 30 day coverage. I call the shop and they tell me to bring it by. They tell me that they just changed the oxygen sensor before selling me the car and that is probably triggering it. I stopped into the shop and they reset the check engine light hoping that that would solve the problem. After driving around a bit the light went back on. They told me that I need to drop the car off there for the day and they would look at it in addition to putting new front tires on which they told me they would do. Mind you my second job my income is bases strictly on my vehicle. I drop the car off at the shop early one morning and pay for an uber to get home. The whole day goes by without hearing a word from the shop. I called early afternoon and was told that they were doing the tires at Town Fair Tire and I could pick the car up from Town Fair. When I asked about the check engine light i was told that they could not get to it and that I had to bring it back another day. So there goes a day of pay without getting the initial problem taken care of. In total there were three of these wasted days until they finally told me that they did all they can do and they tried to fix it enough times and it wasn't on them any longer and my 30 day coverage is long over. Ok yes I realized the time period but this issue was literally trying to be fixed by them since the 2nd day I owned the car. It turned out that it was the oxygen sensor that they replaced but since this car is a California emissions vehicle it takes a certain type of sensor and not a generic one which they ordered online. They would have known that if they had a real mechanic working at the shop. They leave their cars and the safety of their customers in the hands of a welder who knows a few things about cars. No certifications or schooling just guess work. Now the owners will say that i'm just mad because they came and towed my car repo'ing it due to non payment during this pandemic. I work in a hospital surrounded by the pandemic all day. My second job was lost due to closures. Overtime was cut while exposure risk was on the rise. They claim they tried calling me for a few weeks but when they called my number was out of service. My number has not been out of service in the past at least 3 years. If i knew they were going to come and take the car then i would have obviously figured out something but the money wasn't there. Also you have to make your payments at the shop and not even over the phone or else they charge an additional fee. To be honest i didn't think they were still open after driving by there one day and seeing it closed. Bottom line is yes i know i should have paid but these are unprecedented circumstances and they are not even willing to work with their customers. They don't care if you don't have the money due to this pandemic, they don't care if you need the car to go to work at the hospital, they don't care keeping their word and fixing the problems with the cars they sell. Its all about the money to them and since the economy is bad they decided to go out and repo cars and charge the people who already don't have the money an extra $700 repo fee. I also checked with the local police and they did not follow proper repo procedures. But thats no surprise with this place. Don't fall for the fake front that they put on. They do NOT stand behind their vehicles and their "mechanic" couldn't even fix a Tonka Truck. The sad part is that I saw one or two reviews similar to this one when I purchased the car and thought it was just a few sour apples. Boy was I wrong. Do yourselves a favor and just keep driving right by.

After having put down a refundable $500 reserve (minus the credit card fee) on a vehicle so that it could be taken to a certified inspection, Ansonia Auto Park continuously tried to talk me out of the inspection, cancelled their availability on the day before the inspection, and then kept on making excuses for delaying the $500 refund. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for 2 months of excuses and then said that I would give them one last chance or else I will get the credit card company involved. The call didn't go well, given the circumstances, and my reply to their attitude was that I would get the bank involved and so they told me "alright, see you later bud, do what ya gotta do [hang up]." They must have thought that this was some empty threat - they refused to cooperate with the bank as well, so the bank did a chargeback. I spent about between January and May trying to get my reserve money back and they chose to go the hard way. Please be very careful when doing business with them.

Dealer concealed the condition of the exhaust system computer by unplugging the battery between showings, leaving me with an expensive emissions problem. They also used what I considered to be sleazy tactics to inflate the price above what we discussed. Years ago, hopefully management has changed.
