I recently dealt with an agent by the name of "Addie". She seemed very condescending and disinterested. I was looking forward to doing business with YNR in Woodland Park as the reviews were excellent.
I did not feel respected by this agent and I will purchase a home/property with another real estate agency.

We are relocating back to Colorado Springs from overseas and Bill Sutton/The Sutton Team were our realtors. Bill was extremely knowledgeable about the area and kept is up to date with all new listings. He helped us find the perfect house in the right location and in budget. The whole process from looking for a house, making an offer and purchasing the property was made so much easier because we had an excellent agent. I would highly recommend using Bill Sutton/The Sutton Team when looking to purchase a house.

STAY AWAY: Things got so bad I had to trespass Mike and his team off of the property.
I had a very horrible experience with Mike Slaback, the owner of Your Neighborhood Realty (YNR). I serve as the legal caretaker, trustee, and agent for a small ranch outside of Woodland Park, Colorado. Seven years ago, we hired Mike Slaback to manage the rental of our property, and it turned out to be the worst decision we could have made.
We have decided to sell the property, and we decided to go with another realtor because we are not happy with both the "repaired" and unrepaired damages that Mike let happen. For some strange reason Mike thinks he gets to pick who the realtor is that sells the ranch and who represents the owners.
Since that decision, Mike has interfered with a cash offer on the property and the sale of it in every way imaginable. He has refused to provide me with the essential documents, including bank statements, contracts, damage assessments, and insurance contracts if they exist associated with the property. There is a mountain of other problems Mike and his team have caused. They don’t seem to possess a wealth of knowledge about real estate, insurance, or fiduciary law. Some of his team’s advice could have resulted in a prison term if I would have taken it.
Anytime I need information, Mike finds a way to slow down and obstruct the process rather than help. He is an extremely abrasive person to deal with, and we are also in the process of filing a restraining order against him. Yea, he is that bad of a realtor.
I tried professional mediation to protect Mike's business and our interests, but Mike kept calling and yelling at the owners before we could start. We are now making a complaint to the board of realtors so we will see if that helps.
There are hundreds of dedicated real estate agents in Woodland Park who prioritize serving their clients. Unfortunately, Mike Slaback the owner of Your Neighborhood Realty is not one of them. Withholding bank statements and contracts is simply unacceptable and I hope I get them before the house sells. I urge potential clients to consider this before choosing YNR for their real estate needs.

Rose did an outstanding job as our realtor!! Her knowledge and many years of experience in the real estate business was very evident. She was honest & straightforward with us, and always looked out for our best interest. She went above and beyond on all accounts, even going as far as to shovel the snow off our sidewalk and driveway several times so they would be clear when someone came to view our house. We definitely recommend Rose from "Your Neighborhood Realty".

Sabrina Kelley is the most amazing realtor anyone could ever have the privilege to work with in buying your dream home. She was and is amazing. Her help didn't end when we got settled in, no she has gone above and beyond to help us with her extreme knowledge of the area and more.
