“I went to Woodland Park for a vacation back in late May/Early June 2020 and had a great time! I think I visited this place when it was called something else though. I think it had bigfoot or sasquatch in the name but I remember buying a few shirts there. If you guys are the owners of the previous store or know them, they were amazing! I was trying to tell a friend who now moved to CO to go visit that store.”

“When the owner of a business is so passionate about their store, it's usually reflected it in the way the store is being operated and that includes its employees. Bud (as far as I can recollect his name correctly) who was there to assist us when we casually stopped by it and were shopping was one of the examples. He took the time to carry on a very extensive conversation with us telling us (first of all) about the owner who also runs a coffee/bookstore on Broadway near downtown Denver on top of this store. He then went on to explain to us (second of all) that this soap bar shop does not like to stack up bars after bars of soaps to look like one of the giant/chain shops. It's true; the lay-out of the store (how the products are displayed throughout) is/was modest in a very good way but still entertains shoppers' eyes and tickles their curiosity. It was so hard not to pick up each bar of soap to smell it. I was amazed with the unique scents that I have never heard of before; one of them was wakame, the seaweed! Wakame simply doesn't exist in a bowl of miso soup, I guess not?! What a gem we discovered (lucky us!( If you are into uniquely hand-crafted soap bars, come check this store out. It's a bit drive from Denver but as cute and artsy as the town of Manitou Springs can get, this store is one of the best the town can offer; it's worth the time and drive!”
