I walked into the store to purchase some German wine, stopped at the register where there were three people behind the counter. One person was eating, one was looking down at their phone and the third was talking with the person eating. I stood at the register for a few moments then shopped for myself. I wandered through the isles but couldn’t find any German wines so I went back to the register. Not one of the three acknowledged me or even looked my way so I walked out. This is only the second time I’ve been in that store but I certainly won’t return

I have never worked for someone so evil before in my life. Rajan took over he fired all 6 other employees and kept only me and my manager on. We were the only ppl working open to close switching every other day with no breaks from 8am-10pm. Thank God me and the manager had a relationship and came in to cover each other FOR FREE so the other could get a break. Unfortunately cause we never saw each other anymore unless coming in for each other to take a break from time to time, we didn't stay together but we remain friends. Rajan had no respect for women and I get his English wasn't great but the way he demanded from me, my free time, and did speak to me was disgusting and rude like he owned me.we worked for free for him a lot because he'd call us in on our time off to do stuff at the store for him. Since me and my manager never saw each other we would do it for free to just be near each other and so that it wouldn't be left on each other doing it alone. OMG was he so mean to his wife in front of us he would go off on her and she was so sweet always saying it was ok that he did have a big heart we never saw. He tried to yell at me and the manager and we tried to explain as nicely as we could that he was doing something wrong and his wife came in to talk to us telling us that when he yells at us just to take it keep our heads down even if he is wrong do not tell him he is wrong. I was fed up at that point. But besides not legally giving us our breaks, he wasn't paying us on time. I went a whole 2 months without pay untill he'd finally start signining me checks without the taxes being taken out and I didn't like it I told him that but at that point I was begging to just pay me. He was telling me I'd owed him 900$ from that. My manager owed him a lot more cause he had bigger checks. My manager was able to pay us at times before and he'd pay vendors when Rajan would have the amount for him to write, Rajan knew this and was ok with it when he wasn't there, so he wrote both our checks after begging Rajan for another couple weeks that we needed to be paid again. Rajan flipped out telling the manager he was fired and gonna tell cops that my manager stole the money from him, it was our pay! Then in that argument he tried and blamed his grandmother's illness on my manager just trying to make him feel worse ??? (He had money to take care of her like he had money to pay us. He was doing this to all his businesses telling us "oh no I don't do that I don't give breaks to any of my employees" but also taking vacations with his family) but it's the law! Idc that you dont do that! He rips off his family members working for him paying them way below minimum wage way less than we were making. How do you screw over your own family!?!?! My manager was an amazing worker everyone in town who knows him loves him he's such a sweet soul with big heart and a vendor that was seeing everything going on told him that he could come work and manage his store in springs for him. So when my manager didn't show up the next day Rajan blew his phone up yelling at him saying he didn't mean it when he fired him.. you told him he was fired and threatened to say he stole money from you what did you expect?? He had his wife calling him telling him he doesn't mean what he says. So because my manager paid me and himself, I didn't get my last check from Rajan and he's still going after the manager harassing him. Rajan says he owes him 4 grand?? The manager has cancer that keeps coming back. He's beaten it so far but is trying to take care of himself, pay for his medications but is still trying to pay Rajan what he's demanding and I spoke to him the other day he broke down crying cause Rajan keeps threatening and harassing him when he's trying to have no trouble with Rajan, my manager worked there for 4 years he was proud to have that. But now can't afford his medications along with other bills and Rajans threatening to show up at his job a

I sat inside at the front waiting at least 10 minutes before anyone helped me. Come to find out the lady was talking to some guy out front? Then acted like I was interrupting something? This is not the kind of service this place used to have. I’ll go by city market next time. At least someone is at the cash register.

This is the BEST liquor store in Woodland Park! We love going to Paradise Spirits! If there is a spirit or beer, especially locally, you want to try, the owner will make sure he can get the selection for you. I appreciate there are new options and selections! In a time when small businesses are struggling the most, this one has been the most accommodating and friendly!

I have spent a lot of money in this store. They know me. I came in and there were two employees and the owner. I said, "Hey pardon me for being paranoid but could you put on your masks." One employee did the other said in a huff, "well I am off the clock" and left. The owner didn't say anything but looked at me like I had deeply offended him. He left but intentionally did so in a way that forced me to back up to social distance. I will never return. Masks a currently mandatory in this county.

I was facing a case looking and deciding. Only person in store. No he wasn't wearing a mask. Used hand sanitizer. Lol. He yelled at my back. Why ? How rude, how disrespectful. If you have any thing to say to a customer, say it to their face. No need to yell at them like a fool.

Been a good customer for over a year. Just asked in a very nice way that they wear masks while there is a county wide order to do so. Not a political or religious statement. Just ask that they engage in a minor inconvenience to help a frightened and vulnerable customer. They were abrasive and hostel. Glad you don't need my business. I have spent $1000 + in the store since March. Not another penny ever.

Really didn't appreciate their rude anti mask sign in the window - didn't see it until after I left or I would have gone elsewhere. Wondered why I felt the strange vibe while wearing my mask. Cashier not friendly or helpful as I shopped. Made sense afterwards ...won't go back - hope they aren't breathing Covid on people!

Horrible. The help is not wearing masks. I wear my mask to protect you. You should wear a mask to protect me. Unbelievable.

There's a new sign on their door that reads something like "Employees are not required to wear masks here. If that's an issue for you, do not enter." Their blatant lack of care and respect is mindblowing in a time when it's so easy to help protect our community. I used to like shopping here because I thought the employees were nice but I'll gladly pay more to buy from some other store with employees who care about their customers. Ignorance and arrogance will not be rewarded with my money. Last visit: 05/21/20
