A wonderful shop with incredible people and products! The owner is extremely knowledgeable, as it is his employee who works with him. They are both incredibly friendly as well. The jewelry is absolutely beautiful! I feel the prices are fair, considering the excellent quality. There are so many things to choose from, if you don't find at least three or four things you fall in love with, I would be shocked. We found far more than that! The service we received once we decided on a piece was also stellar. It is a 2 1/2 hour trip from our home, and we would come up here again just for this experience. We found a piece that coordinated beautifully with a piece my father-in-law made in the 70s. I never in 1 million years, thought we would come across something so perfect.

Chimayo Turqoise offers the highest quality, authentic Native American jewelry. Dan has been designing, sourcing and selling jewelry from Native American craftsmen for 53 years and counting. He is an expert. His selection include antiques as well as new designs and latest turquoise finds from Kingman to Kazakhstan. Prices were extremely reasonable. They post new inventory on their Facebook page and ship pieces out all the time.

We visited here yesterday and WOW is all I can say. The owner is very passionate and knowledgeable. The jewelry is very high quality with reasonable pricing. So many beautiful pieces to see! He also is very reasonable on repair jobs. Check this place out!! We will for sure be back the next time we are in town!!

Best place to buy authentic native American jewelry in Colorado. Prices are a fraction of what NM or AZ are!!! Navajo owner said he has been in business for 50 yrs. Longest single owned business in woodland park. Old and new pieces. Bobby was a genuinely sweet, funny and knowledgeable employee. So glad we went!

Stopped at Chimayo Turquoise to just look around. Owner Dan was so nice and knowledgeable about everything. Bought 2 pair of turquoise bear claw earrings and a bear claw with turquoise necklace and love them !! Actually went back the next day for 2 more pair of bear claw earrings for my daughter in law and my granddaughter. I bought a bear claw watch in Cortez Colorado that didn't work and Dan told me to shake it for 2 hours because it was probably wound too tight. It has been working ever since!! My husband and I totally enjoyed the conversation about the different tribes of Indians and the 4th world the Indians believe is happening soon!!! We will definitely be going back next time we go to Colorado.
