We’ve had our daughters here for five years. The staff is loving, they are well prepared for kindergarten and the kids are happy to go to school.

Absolutely horrible. I tried 3 different times to get in touch to inquire about the day care even stopped in and spoke directly with someone about how to best get ahold of them and did as she requested still didn't get a single reply. It's one thing to not have space available but just let me know it's been a full month since my last try still nothing. With yhe lack of communication it makes me very nervous if something happened would I even be notified.

3 week gap between inquiry and response. I am confident the daycare center is adequate, I am less confident that if a problem were to arise (or a question), that effective communication would ensue.I do not have a child here and for that, discount my rating accordingly. Because of the poor communication, which was no call backs or email responses for weeks, that when things are busy they triage responses to levels of importance. Reliable communication is a table stake not a perk.My family and I choose Highlands Academy.

There should be a "0" to rate this daycare. My fiance put a deposit down to take my daughter there and didn't sign ANYTHING stating that they can keep it if I chose not to take her there. The owner refused to give me back the $100 back to us because she said we had to hold a spot for my daughter..after a couple phone calls the owner decided just to hang up. Probably because I was making a point and she was upset with herself for taking our money. I reported also to the BBB. She kept saying it was pretty much our loss that we GAVE the daycare money. STILL to this day I haven't received my $100 back. If we didn't sign anything holding a spot, nothing with my daughters name (or ours) than maybe the daycare needs it more than we do considering the owner isn't friendly and it's a new company?

The curriculum WRLA uses is outstanding. The teachers are great and we've had an overall positive experience. The only downfall is a lack of outside space for the children to play. I also want to speak to the review above regarding the deposit. Every daycare or school that you apply to requires a deposit which is non-refundable.
