I’ve just had routine stuff done here, but the only con is the first come first serve. But you do get a break on cost. When I’ve brought my dog in for assessment and there’s nothing to be concerned of they only charge about $25. Great value for those 50/50 concerns.

These are good people doing good work. They’ve never taken advantage of us financially, all of the women who work the lines and refills are so kind and charismatic, and the vet really cares about your pets quality of life. Extra big shoutout Stephanie. You can tell she cares deeply about what she does, treats my dog like her own baby, and always bring a fun and comforting energy to your interaction. This clinic is a god sent.

I've used Western Animal Clinic for about 10 years. I've brought all my animals here. I would strongly recommend this place to my family and friends. They are friendly and welcoming, just don't let your dog sniff the cat run. Pay attention to the hours as they limit walk in hours.

The front desk staff are Horrendous, neither of the two old ladies should have a job with how disgustingly rude they are. I called to asked about appointments & the lady that answered the phone was the rudest person I’ve ever spoken to .Ive been going here for years. I will not recommend this place to anyone

I really love Dr. S and his assistant. They clearly love animals and treat them kindly with a little humor sprinkled in. I see many people complaining about the wait being too long. Folks, this is their business model and if it does not work for you, don't go there. It takes us 45 minutes to get there so we definitely have to plan ahead. Because of the drive, we usually bring all of our animals which has never been a problem. We are well taken care of every single time. Plus, the cost is so reasonable, I would rather pay in time than dollars any day of the week. Many people complain about the 'briskness' of the two office staff ladies, however, I've never had any issues with them. In fact, I find that 'killing them with kindness' goes a long way. Thank you for taking great care of our animals!

My extended family always bring our dogs here. This past month my dog of 13 years had to be euthanized. Staff handled this with care and sensitivity.

I can't say enough good things about this vet. It is a first come first serve, wait in your car to be called place. Having a small dog, it's super important to keep him safe while we wait and there is no safer place than the car! The staff here are amazing and they don't charge you an arm and a leg for visits. Dr. Shiarella's and his staff is doing God's work by helping us lower income folks afford care for our fur babies. I appreciate them!

After two of our vets in the neighborhood closed, we found ourselves struggling to find a good vet for our pets. Especially the cats who can be difficult to handle unless you are an experienced vet. After visiting other vets who overcharged for unnecessary tests, food, and on-going treatments, and clearly hadn’t a clue on how to handle cats, I am so pleased to have found this vet who is highly experienced, honest, knowledgeable, and very reasonable in treatment costs! While the walk in clinic requires you to come early and wait, it is worth it to wait in line for non-emergencies.

If I could give negative stars I would.
I would like to first start off by saying their practice is sketchy. They won't supply you with an itemized receipt of what they are charging you for. They'll tell you you need to call this non existent lab that is not associated to them to ask about costs incurred by THEIR vet practice.
I have been to this vet many times. Recommended this vet MANY times to multiple people. I have experienced the office admin here kind of treating you as an annoyance but it did not really bother me until recently. The way I was recently treated by Sheryl the receptionist when I called to confirm my dog's appt for the next day; I will NOT be back. It's unfortunate because I do like the vet however the interaction with the receptionist was so horrendous I will NEVER recommend this place again.
My mom also uses the same vet and had an appt there a few days after this negative interaction I had. When my mom went in the same receptionist apparently said such incredibly mean things about me to my mom that my mom could not even tell me as it would make her start crying.
This woman is TERRIBLE, MEAN and UNPROFFESIONAL! I have been in customer service for basically the entirety of my career and so I am extra polite when speaking on the phone to people just because I know some customers can be rude. So for her to act like this towards me was COMPLETELY inappropriate and COMPLETELY uncalled for! Then for her to continue saying inappropriate things to my mother to the point she can't talk about it, is WAY out of line.
I would recommend staying away from this place as they have made it very clear they do not care. You will be treated as a burden by the front staff.
