I was not satisfied with the experience I had with my cat at West Denver Veterinary Hospital & Wellness in Wheat Ridge. I will not be going back and I would not recommend them to my friends.

The receptionist gentleman was professional and kind. Good at his job. Dr. Drake was also professional, thorough and attentive. That being said, a 15 minute visit was NOT worth $82 but the place was empty so not surprised.The reason for 2 stars would be the technician really ruined it for me. My dog is genetic predisposed for an autoimmune disease in which she cannot receive vaccines at her age. This didn't matter to the tech when she insisted my dog, at the very least, get a rabies shot in order to be seen by the Vet. Their rules she said.It was then I agreed to leave the appointment because I understood that rules were rules. "Ohhhhhh, I'm sure we can make an exception this one time", she says.Whaaat? I'm thinking about leaving then she tries to reel me into a "bang for your buck" blood/urine test (her words). I felt like I was being sold a used car for $399. Because that was what I was gonna have to pay for a work up! GEEZZ!BTW they are giving a $25 bribery coupon if you give 5 stars. That's right, not for a review , for giving 5 stars! So, I wonder if most of the 5 star reviews are legit, probably not. I ALWAYS give feed back where it's needed so maybe retrain that tech to give people more options than a $399 workup. :(

The front desk was very welcoming, they were punctual and all the staff was patient and gentle with our nervous dog. They were not pushy with recommending a bunch of tests either.My dog would like to add that the provided treats were delightful and very distracting.

They are great. Winston loves going to doggy daycare there. They are very responsive and flexible with scheduling on short notice

My husband took our dog in for a wellness visit as a new patient and everyone was so friendly. We had to reschedule our visit beforehand and it was easy to do and they had flexible times. The staff were great with our anxious dog and the vet was phenomenal! We will definitely be bringing our other pets to this clinic going forward.

Was so impressed with them treating my pit! Then comes my Bambi girl!!! Shaved, X-rayed, then drugged up for surgery! Oh ur dogs in heat can’t do surgery! That will be 300 bucks! Wanna make another appointment!!! Ummm nope! I’m at a total loss, my dogs will see another vet! Thanks for everything!Addendum! Ty for a smooth spade on round 2! Bambi is doing well.

I will never take a cat here again you are too expensive outrageous with that veterinarian charged just to give two shots. The trimming the nails I understand but your price is outrageous. My biggest complaint is the price I've never had anything like this before I should have gone to Western Animal Clinic for the shots at least it's free on Saturday to come in and all you have to do is pay for the shots looks like I'll be going back there again I don't like them but I will go back

Bongo gets great treatment at West Denver Veterinary from getting his nails trimmed, yearly checkups to surgeries. We have always had a great experience and would recommend them.

We love Denver West veterinary! Frankie (my 2 year old English cocker spaniel) doesn’t love the vet in general, but the vets always make her feel loved and comfortable here. She always looks super cute with her little bandana that they give her too:)

We have two dachshunds and they needed their teeth cleaned really bad. West Denver Vet was so reasonably priced. We could afford to do both dogs teeth for the price my old vet would have done only one.I recommend them to everyone I know.
