Beyond lazy and incompetent. They won’t even complete a prescription that’s been issued to them until you first either 1.) show up and ask for your prescription or 2.) call in and specifically ask them to process it.
I’ve now made NINE separate attempts over three different months to pickup THREE refills.
Unacceptable. Whoever is in charge needs to be replaced.

Literally I have to do their job for them everytime. If there is a doctor authorization, I am the one who had to call the doctor office. If there is a problem with insurance, I am the one who has to call to get the clearance. I have Literally had the pharmacy tell me "oh we do know what to do the screen says it's frozen." I mean come on, really not one time has this location been convenient. Do not use this location or walgreens anymore. The amount of elderly people I've seen them give the same run around when the elderly are not aware of what's happening it sickens me.

Make sure to double check your emailed receipts. The last two times I've been there they didn't give me a sale price and charged me for a bag I never requested.

Store is fine. Pharmacy is difficult in every aspect. Still shop in the store but moved prescriptions away from the pharmacy.

Fentanyl smell right outside the bathrooms and when you bring it up to the employees they casually don't know what You're talking about.

Worst drive through pharmacy I’ve ever been to. They take half an hour to help a single person. You need to get more staff or turn away those who take up a serious amount of time and have them go inside. It’s not okay you have lines of 8 cars waiting 30+ minutes for their medications every time. This is not okay. Do not use this pharmacy if you actually have a life. Managers you need to fix this problem.

The people who work at this pharmacy are angels! Each and everyone of them goes above and beyond the call of duty. They are kind, compassionate, patient, pleasant, and joyful every single time I visit the Pharmacy and I have been coming here for years. Thank you thank you thank you for making an errand a pleasant experience! You guys are the best, and I want everyone to know it!

After trying for a week to get my critical prescriptions at my (now previous) pharmacy, the pharmacist and team here went above and beyond to help get me what I need. The entire team was helpful, so quick, and friendly! I am transferring all of my prescriptions to this location, and will be happily driving out of my way to take advantage of their amazing service.

Was put on hold for 43 minutes. Somebody finally picked up and it was an accident to which she put me back on hold and then it hung up on me. Walgreens is the absolute worst. They can’t even answer their phones. Ridiculous. I will not be getting a prescription filled here EVER again.

Really poor customer service and general treatment from the pharmacy technicians. I asked when a critical medication for my chronically ill child would be ready for pickup (I was out of the medication dt an error with her insurance) and the response I received was a demeaning and frustrated “I don’t know what you’re not understanding…” and the interaction went downhill from there. This was day 7 of trying to get this medication filled, which was anxiety provoking and frankly scary for me as a mom knowing what happens if my kiddo doesn’t have her medication.I work as a hospice nurse and deal with people at their hardest moments, and always address questions or concerns with compassion and respect. To receive neither from this team over such a basic interaction and request put me into tears and made me feel so small and helpless during such a stressful situation.Pharmacy is an extension of what we do in healthcare and it seems if you’re not able or willing to answer basic questions with professionalism or kindness, you should avoid patient facing positions. Such basic lack of care or compassion is truly hurtful to those of us who carry so much. I always thought highly of the Walgreens staff and team, and frequent this location often for a variety of needs and services, but will no longer be choosing Walgreens for pharmacy or otherwise.

Bad experience at Walgreens in Applewood. Went there for a FedEx drop-off and waited at the photo counter for way too long, only to have the associate finally come and rudely tell me that I had to go elsewhere. I showed her that my QR coded return slip specifically said 12700 W 32nd Ave. She said, “We don’t control what FedEx does.” I understand that, but you don’t have to be rude. Walgreens benefits by having FedEx drop-offs in their store, and when they make the experience awful, it only looks bad on Walgreen, not FedEx.
