If I could give no stars I would. I spoke with Suba Pros two weeks before my car was scheduled to be dropped off. I explained in detail that I was a Subaru Master Technician and just didn’t want to do the repair myself. I explained in depth the repair needed and was told that they had spoke with the technician and they had the tools to do the job without removing the rear knuckles. They quoted me $470 dollars total parts and labor included to replace the forward bushings on the rear trailing arms which on my model is one piece (part of the knuckle), which I had explained in detail and was made clear they understood the repair. When I arrived two weeks later to drop my car off as scheduled, I was greeted at 8am when they opened by who I can only assume was the owner extremely rude who stated, “We don’t have the tools to do the job quoted on the car and will have to remove the knuckles which will increase the labor charge”. Not to mention he didn’t have the parts on hand yet to repair the car as quoted. He stated I could leave the car for them to inspect and re-quote which was completely unexceptionable at this point. Not once taking responsibility for wasting my time and again was completely rude! I refused to leave my car there and went directly to the Subaru Dealer close by, who had the bushings in stock! Regardless of whatever SubaPros may reply to this review they are full of it and obviously scam artists giving false quotes to get you in the door, then inflating your quote in person. I have many friends at the dealer including management that stated they always see multiple come backs from the work SubaPros failed to do correctly the first time! They should change their name to SubaUnprofessionals. DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP!
In response to the owner:
I only speak the truth, not nonsense! As you know Master Technicians are very busy and sometimes prefer not to work on their days off. I actually did end up doing the job myself and had no issues doing so. It’s funny how you say a simple misunderstanding which is far from the truth. Your tech must not know what he’s talking about since I explained the issue and repair in detail. When I went to buy the part at the dealership I actually saw one of my friends who is also a master technician and mentioned my frustration with your shop and he then stated how terrible your shop is and how many come back jobs end up there from your shop to be repaired correctly. Not only did you waste my time but you wanted me to leave my car and you didn’t even have the parts in stock after two weeks to do the repair. Maybe you should stop making assumptions when you respond to reviews and start running your business better. The shop owners response should be your sign not to do business here. Obviously making excuses for a technician that should understand how to do their job.

If I could give more stars, I would. Always take excellent care of my vehicle. Trustworthy and reliable advice. Superior pricing. Tonya, at the front, is always so personable and is able to explain all details of work needing performed. Rocky, in the back, has taken care of and extended the life of my car for many many years. Thank you all for a job very well done.

Can't speak highly enough of the great service SubaPros provide for our aging 2006 Tribeca. We've been loyal customers for several years after a dealership tried to "take us to the cleaners".

My first time there and felt like working with old friends. Fair prices & they told me what my car needed without trying to upsell me. I will return!

Kyle and the whole team were AMAZING! They were communicative, had my car at the shop while we were dealing with insurance, and it came back looking better than ever. Thank you all!!!!!!!

They aren’t communicative/dishonest about what the actual time frame is for work being done. Was told the job would take a couple days, called the day after to make sure it was going to be finished the next day, they said it would be. Came to that day they call me and tell me it’s going to be finished end of day. Then 20 minutes later call me and say never mind it won’t be finished that day. They said they had hiccups when doing the work but they never called and told me that so overall I wouldn’t recommend them. Cost me around 800 dollars in missed work because of that.
Seems other customers have had similar issues with Subarupros time management and communication.
In response to the owners comment: I would call being a day off is a little more than falling a bit short especially when it cost somebody 800 dollars. So if you want to give me a refund that covers most of that I’m willing to say you corrected your mistake.

Kyle/subapros is amazing! Beyond kind and also amazing with the car. My car got hit in my own driveway by someone backing up without looking. State Farm was terrible to work with (unsurprisingly) but Kyle picked up the slack and provided top notch service. He even cleaned the car after repairing it. 10/10 would recommend and will be using him for any future repair needs!

I cannot say how much I appreciate and enjoy this shop. I worked with Kyle; he, and the whole team, is proactive, responsive and easy to deal with. My father-in-law, who can be quite a stickler for quality work, recommended them to me, and I'll never go to another shop.

So far so good. Went to All Japanese Repair in desperate need of assistance. Shop was supposed to be open but mechanic never showed up. This shop was open, picked up phone, and straight forward. Got me in and out within a few hours and car got me back home. Glad I ended up here, if I’m on this side of town will definitely bring my car back. ??

Everyone at this business from the front office to the head mechanic Is honest and helpful, which may not sound like much to some but it’s quite hard to come by these days.

I had a problem that I took my car to the dealership and Les schwab to try and solve. Neither of them could figure it out... but Subapros did. They will be the only place I take my baby to from now on.
