Gianna was the most help I’ve ever had at kings soopers. She was slammed in self checkout and still kept her cool and was extremely polite and helpful. The customer service industry needs more people like her

My family and I have been coming to this location for years. The last few times I have been there- ALL the bags of lettuce have been so disgusting. We eat salad at least every night with dinner. Everything is all brown and pink. We have always chosen King Soopers over Walmart because produce WAS always great…. Now when we come in, we wanna turn in our Card…. They are always constantly stocking, why leave that on the shelf. I just can’t believe my eyes honestly.

I work nights I come in all the time maybe 3 to 4 times a week and I usually have enough time to make it within 20 minutes of closing time I also usually only grab one item so that I could cook for the night. 11 minutes before closing and I arrived to the door and this man tells me I can't come in because he wants to go home and they all want to get out on time then another man walks behind me ask if he can please come in because he needs to get cookies for his class the young lady working let him in but told him he needed to hurry up because they wanted to go home on time I don't understand what was the difference between me getting my one item and this gentleman getting his one item but it's definitely unacceptable

Unbelievable that this store can be so disrespectful to customers.
Sat 4/27/24.
Register operator feels the need to gruffly inform a customer, that is bagging her own groceries, that he's waiting on her to complete the transaction at the pin pad.
After all, he's completed HIS job, and has nothing to do now.
Not to mention, there are other people in line.
He now needs to get to the next highly skilled bar code scanning experience.
No offer to assist with bagging to speed things up. Not in his job description, I guess.
Whether incompetent or malicious, he then neglects to unlock the anti theft cart wheels for this fully paid customer. She was unaware that such technology existed.
This created a logjam situation at the front doors affecting other customers coming and going from the store. As well, a confused patron.
No assistance from any employee, until the customer temporarily abandons the cart (and it's paid for contents) to find a "manager" that can unlock the obstruction and allow the customer to leave. I'm told the manager was condescending, irritated and rude as well, to a shopper that, I believe did nothing to deserve the smug attitude of these 2 Applewood King Soopers staff members.

A big store. With two lanes open? The self checkout lines went halfway to the back of the store. I don't usually shop here and won't be back. The Kings near my house is much smaller. But they seem to understand their crowds.

I used to work at King Soopers in Arvada, and loved their flower department.I like to buy flowers like once per two weeks, but what I have been seeing in this store - plant and flower abuse ? The most of water (if any) I see in those buckets - like 2 inches, wanted to buy peonies today - they are all almost dead! It’s a lot of waste! Please take care of them!

I was doing some afternoon shopping around 4/5 pm tonight and i was walking by the deli - very displeased to hear what i can only assume to be a manager, being very loud and aggressive with her employees. it was disheartening to see the impatience & the anger that radiated from this woman so much so i stuck around to figure out her name so i could write this review. Her name is Sam, and she has red hair! Have a conversation with that woman about respecting her employees. Unless she IS the entire store manager, in that case, TREAT PEOPLE BETTER.

Janet, the pharmacy manager, deserves a raise. I had a horrible experience last night with the pharmacy staff/pharmacist. They refused to transfer a prescription from another pharmacy because they thought the doctor cancelled the order. He had cancelled a smaller order, but not the main order. I asked them to call the other pharmacy and they refused. I was upset by the experience as I was in need of that medication.
Thankfully, Janet reached out today and explained the situation on how the pharmacy team had missed my larger prescription last night. She offered to transfer the prescription this morning and fill it in 30 minutes. She was a god send. Thank you Janet!

Of the seven (7!) KS locations I can choose from near me, this one consistently has everything in stock for my pickup order. This includes unusual items like specialty cheese, soy milk or vegetarian sausage. The bananas are not bruised either. The staff are friendly and professional when I pick up groceries.

So I guess they're not doing well thanks anymore. They haven't had it for over a week. I asked the guy when it was going to be back up he knows nothing. What's the point of having workers if they don't know what's going on
