Recently came here to get my dog spayed and was honestly left speechless with their rudeness. Front staff immediately greeted us with so much unnecessary attitude. I cannot comprehend choosing to work in an environment where positivity and healing are essential yet choose to display such disgusting attitudes. These people are Ugly inside and out. The only nice person was the young man.

Dr. Jeff, the Rocky Mountain vet… I can not say enough positive things about Dr. Jeff and his staff. They are kind, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and offer extremely affordable pricing. I have been to his clinic numerous times over the last 30 years. He has earned a reputation as a skilled DVM. Rightfully so. They treat all kinds of small animals and always make you feel like family. I am forever grateful for the care and compassion they have provided my family and I, during difficult times.

I am grateful for the staff and doctors that provided me the support my dog needed for immediate surgery to remove a large tumor. Dr. Jeff and Dr. Petra truly care for the health and well being of not only the animals they treat but also their Guardians by providing quick support and very reasonable fees. No other vets around Colorado provide this. I am OVER the Moon with joy knowing my beloved sweet Dylan will now be with me for years to come.

After 2 years I still don't recommend this place. My dog is traumatized from this experience. Having my dog in a cage for a week with no food and no diagnose is extremely unacceptable. They seriously thought I would not say what I saw, but if the dog don't drink and don't eat they don't care. Their too busy to check if the animals are doing well. The end was when they asked me to stop coming over because they won't let me see my dog because their too busy to take a picture and show me she's alive. DONT COME HERE!

this place is terrible! front desk so rude especially the blonde. brought my puppy in to be spay and she dies two days later. not even a condolence call from the vet that did the surgery. don't take your pet there if you expect them to be alive when you pick them up. you get what you pay for.

I saw a documentary on Dr. Jeff, the founder of Planned Pethood and decided to ask them to look at my 19 year old chihuahua who had developed a mass on the bridge of her nose. I called and a very kind lady answered the phone and told me they did "free mass checks" on certain days between certain hours. So we took off work and took her in to the office. From the moment we walked in the door, it felt off. All the windows were covered and it was quite dark. I went to the desk and the woman there seemed disinterested and dismissive. I told her I was there for the free mass check, and she told me "We don't do that, but we can give you an estimate." I explained what I was told, but she seemed unaware of any such service. She told me there were no vets there and no one to see us. Then they gave me a printout sheet with other vets in the area with discounted costs. I was in shock, of course accompanied by fear my baby had cancer. No one spoke to us about anything, other than asking me to wait for an estimate. Then she came out to the waiting area and very coldly handed me a sheet of paper with $800 written on it. That was the end of interaction - no disccusion, no compassion, no eye contact. I felt a cold brush off. I left there feeling punched in the gut. I wonder if Dr. Jeff knows his office and personnel are handling clients like this. No way did our experience match the 5 star reviews, or the documentary I saw. Shameful

For all of you who wrote less than 5 Stars reviews for Dr. Jeff Young and his Staff at Planned Pethood, "YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO GO THERE"! Our rescue dog had cancer on his tail (found after our old vet amputated it at a hefty price)! We decided to give Planned Pethood a try for the growths on his back even after reading the negative reviews I read. We watch the show all of the time and could not understand why all of the negative reviews. My husband made an appointment to take our labradoodle up so Dr. Jeff could take a look. We made another appointment afterwards to have the 3 cysts removed and opted to send in for biopsy if they felt necessary. In the meantime we acquired a Aussie Poo that was 8 months old and had not been neutered and we had no idea what shots he had received. I called and asked if we could bring him at the same time to be checked out. The staff was very accommodating and added our new dog to the schedule. We took them both in yesterday and procedures were done on both. They kept us informed on how they were both doing and advised us that the other cysts were just fatty tumors and just needed to be removed. Our new dog was neutered and immunized, all at a fraction of the price we paid at our old vets office. It isn't the money, it is the care that Dr. Jeff and the staff gave. They are phenomenal and should be appropriated and rewarded for the care that they give. They are all friendly, kind, caring, and above all Wonderful at what they do. THANK YOU DR.JEFF & STAFF from the bottom of our hearts! The Palazzolo Family Colorado Springs, CO

Went to the vaccine clinic to get a lepto shot for my dog, waited an hour in line to be turned away by a blonde woman behind the counter who was fairly rude as they were out of the lepto vaccine and there was nothing she could do for us...even though she wasn't the one working the station we walked up to. The website says they do a list of vaccines/pricing on saturday and sunday 10-2. per the window- due to short staff it is only saturdays but you wouldn't be able to know without going there. the website needs updating since questions can't get answered over the phone due to busy scheduling. mostly upset about the lady behind the counter who spoke to me this way as i have just been struggling and she was nothing but rude. we were also informed at this time they are relocating.

Meow Meow had been to two other vets, with no luck. So we loaded up our car and headed to Colorado from New Mexico.. we knew if anybody could fix our baby. It would be Dr Jeff and Dr Patra and their staff.. We have found our forever Vet. Thank you so much for what you did for us. We can never repay you for that. May God bless you and everything you do in everything you touch always and forever Kellie and Johnny.

My dog has seizures and needs his medication or he'll die. Every year they do blood tests and a pre-surgical blood test. Pricing is reasonable, but the care is something to be questionable about. Many times they have rejected to fill his medication even though he's been taking the same medication for about all his life. They even drag on sending the prescription to be picked up. I've had to wait weeks for them just to send the already signed off prescription that just needs the pharmacy to fill. And the phone calls. They never pick up their phones, and even if you're lucky to get an appointment who's to say you'll actually see a vet. I don't understand what happened because starting out visits here were great. Everyone was kind and helpful, but it seems the longer that you're a patient without an "interesting" case, the more the care declines. Go find a different local vet. It'll save you money in the long run

Was really hoping they could help me, but no. My poor dog needs her leg operated on and Dr Jeff was my only hope. Guess he's just like the others.
