Flavia and the entire sales team were friendly and helpful. All of our questions regarding style and quality were answered with great detail, and it was clear that everyone in the store loved their merchandise and knew it well. We are enjoying our purchase and will return to Scandinavian Designs soon!

We have lots of nice furniture in our home but finding the right love seat and matching recliner (quality, looks, comfort and support) was a challenge. Our usual stores just didn't have what we were looking for. My brother had a couple of new love seats that he bought at Scandinavian Design that we liked so we went there. We discovered the Stressless line made in Norway and we loved it. Everything we were looking for. Excellent products and a great store!

The pros: Shopping in the store was a pleasant experience. We didn't have sales people hovering over us the whole time, which I always appreciate. Also, we just got (some of) the furniture we ordered, and its quality met my expectations.The cons: The delivery logistics of this place are just bad. We ordered our bedroom set in August, and they told us that some pieces were backordered until November. We said that was fine; we'd wait until everything was ready so we only had to pay one delivery fee. When November arrived, we got an email saying the bed, chest, and dressers were ready, but there was no mention of the nightstands we ordered. We called to ask, and they said that actually, the nightstands *were* ready (?), but the chest didn't get loaded on the truck at the distribution center.We now have to wait *another* month for the chest because they apparently only deliver to our area certain times each month. (You'd think they'd make a special trip since it was their screw-up -- and since we live in Erie, which is not far from the store -- but nope.) No discount or anything was offered; it was just, "Welp, we messed up, so you'll have to wait another month for the chest now."On top of that, I knew that I would be heads down at work the day they were delivering the furniture, so both my husband and I called at separate times to change the phone number in their system from mine to his, so that he would be alerted when the delivery folks were on their way (since he would be home). Despite both of us calling to make that change to his number, the "we're on our way" text still went to me, so he had to run around frantically to get our indoor pets secured when the delivery folks suddenly arrived at our house with no warning.No complaints about the furniture we've gotten so far, but prepare to have your patience seriously tested if you get anything that's on backorder or if you get anything delivered.

I am giving three stars because of the two chairs we bought, one of them (a custom order) leather chair, is already sagging and stretching on the seat cushion - and it is rarely sat in. It happened the very first time we sat in (the one on display wasn't like this). The style is contemporary so the stretching just looks plain bad - like it wasn't well made.

Oh my goodness! Been a good long while since I had such great customer service that I felt compelled to write a review!!! I ordered the Holfred dresser and one of the legs had a small split in the wood, after calling and speaking to Kevin the store manager he was happy to provide a replacement leg and personally delivered it to my house with my nightstand which had been ordered later. He had already worked a full shift but came when was most convenient for me and I am so grateful and impressed! Most people don’t go above and beyond like this for their customers anymore. I don’t need anymore furniture but if I do or know someone that does I know where I’m sending them!!!

We refinished our basement and we’re looking for a sectional. We found a great option that was updated and modern, but comfortable (we like that it is slightly firm), with electric recliners built right in. Easy to shop, no hassle, and they coordinated delivery quickly. We added a section that fit right in and was delivered right to the room we have the sectional in. Great experience.

I wanted to leave a positive note about Flavia (and Connor). Flavia really went above and beyond to assist me with an issue with my couch and I just felt so pleasantly surprised at how much initiative she took to help me and how kind she was. She really made the experience so easy. Connor helped to coordinate as well and was very friendly. It’s hard to find that kind of energy these days, so I just wanted to say how wonderful my experience was with this team! Really appreciated it, thank you!
