They seem to think they can put a hold on your prescriptions until you pay your bill in full. Even if it's something you need everyday to live. This is very ILLEGAL. I have a voice-mail to prove it. They CANNOT hold on to it. This is negligence on there part. Be very careful when dealing with this practice. Their money is more important than your health.

I have been a patient here for over 10 years. I didn't even know I owed a balance and they refused to fill my thyroid prescription because of $100. Unethical. This left a bad taste in my mouth and I am taking my business elsewhere now. You have lost a patient

I have been a patient at Ricky Mountain Primary Care for over 10 years. My doctor retired about a year ago which is about the time that the time that new doctors took over. I went in for my yearly check in blood work, blood pressure check etc. I was seen by my previous drs replacement who was a bit condescending and did not like it when I told him that I prefer to see a female dr for gynecologist procedures. I prefer female drs in general but thought I'd give the new dr a try. I am so disappointed in the new atmosphere of this clinic as the people there are rude and have a an attitude like they don't like being there. The receptionist for the dr that. I went to kept telling me that I was a walk in when I called to make an appointment. They referred me another dr who does not take my insurance which doesn't surprise me given their callous attitude. I feel very uncomfortable with the new atmosphere and wouldn't recommend this clinic to anyone who wants to make their own health care decisions
I feel that the drs there want to dictate how and what you do with your health. I couldn't get them to send a prescription to my mail service pharmacy even though I specifically asked that they do so. I don't think they know how to schedule appts properly as they kept telling me that I was a walk in when I called to make an appt the week before I was seen.

The front desk receptionist is extremely rude. Called and try to schedule a new patient checkup because my longtime primary doctor retired this year. Was put on hold for a while. then was treated with unrespectful attitude, the receptionist on the phone constantly talked over me and had zero patience to listen to my explanation of the situation. At one point she said in a very impatient and unpleasant tone "oh, 11 minutes." This was one of the rudest treatment I ever got from a medical office. I think if they treated anyone this rude over the phone, I really question how they are going to treat their patients if there are real issues.

This place is awful, just save yourself some time and go with any of the other amazing practices in the area. As previous comments have mentioned Dr. Covell's male receptionist will treat you like you're a telemarketer calling his personal phone in the middle of the night. I tried to make an appointment for my husband and they said the doctor was booked for 'months' they didn't even give me a date the woman then told me it was impossible to see any other provider then put me on hold. Then Dr. Covell's scheduler got on the phone yelling " he's booked out for months what do you want from me!?". I tried to contact the business manager thinking there could be some resolve other than switching providers and never received a call back. People who need a doctor shouldn't be yelled at for making an appointment. Shame on this practice for treating people like cattle.

male receptionist was very rude. I didn't even get the chance to be a patient, I figured if that's how I would be treated over the phone, I would get the same type of service going forward. He was rushing me the whole time, as if I was disrupting him. I don't know how anyone deals with that.

So disappointed. I switched to this practice from New West Physicians due to their horrible phone wait times and poor service. After 8 months, I think I'm going back. Dr Covell informed me it is their office's policy to not prescribe any sleeping pills or anxiety medication. I was told to find a psychiatrist for that. For sleeping meds? Finding a psychiatrist is near impossible. Then, this week, I was informed my asthma inhaler is no longer being made. Instead of prescribing a replacement, I was told I'd have to come in. Why? I have to miss work and pay a copay to have him tell me what inhaler to use? I'm tired of doctor offices and their extortion tactics.

They were friendly and I didn't have to wait long. Great office hours as well and near to where I live.

Colleen is a wonderful PCP - always takes the time to listen and really takes your concerns seriously. The office is a little confusing with the lab desk being at the very front and each provider having their own "waiting area," but it's pretty easy to get used to once you go a few times. I hope I can have my medical home here for many years to come!

I'm following up since 2 weeks to get my test results and still no update. Their phone line is useless and unresponsive.

This office will rush you through an appointment then blow you off when you follow up about concerns. Doctor was incredibly impersonal and unhelpful.

Extremely disappointed with the service received over the phone. Staff exhibited rudeness and showed no willingness to assist or even listen to my concerns. Overall, a highly unpleasant experience.

Dr. William Covell has been my MD for a few years now. I personally feel like he is a horrible doctor and just doesn’t want to help you unless he can put you on medication. I don’t feel pills are the option every single time. If he can put you on medicine he just won’t help you at all. My advice to you is go with another doctor. He’s horrible!!!!

Didn’t even get a chance to be a patient. I called stating that myself and my daughter are looking for a new family doctor due to a new job which means new insurance front desk immediately transferred me to billing after I told them I verified my insurance was accepted by their practice. She didn’t even let me finish my sentence before she transferred me then the billing department said “I think we take your insurance” and I proceeded to hear her speak with another person to confirm which I already knew. Then I was transferred back to the same front desk person who gave me no time a day, and stated she would have to make an exception for me and my daughter to both be seen on the same day, which makes no sense if I’m looking Why wouldn’t you be able to take both of us same day her tone was rude and customer service skills very much lacked I assumed this would be the type of service I would get going forward if I did become a member of the practice So I decided to decline the appointment which I’m glad I did.
