Apparently a 6 week old payroll check is too old for them to cash because they're use to people living paycheck to paycheck like they do. Why am I going to pay 3% fee when I can just wait 3 days for bank to clear the check for free?

Literally the worse place. I tried to cash a check on my way home because I did not want to stop at the bank. The lady asked for a paystub. I couldn't remember the website on my phone for paystubs because i have it saved on my work computer, so I offered to bring in my computer and pull it up and let her watch me log in and could show her my work badge. Then she said they didn't want the pay stub, they wanted to call my job and verify I worked there. I understand wantimg to verify and beimg safe but you say one thing and turn around and say something completely different when I offer alternatives to pull up a paystub. That is wild to me. Next time I'll just drive the extra time to the bank. Don't waste your time.

This place is trash. So I went to cash a check here because I was not successful at the check issuing bank. Obviously I would go to the issuing bank first to cash it in my scenario it would have costed me 8$ at chase bank compared to their almost $300 fee. So it just makes sense I tried to cash it at the bank first. Unfortunately for me I was not successful at chase so it almost makes sense why you guys are in business so people have ANOTHER OPTION. however the check was signed by none other than myself at the previous case bank you know it's kind of required.... So I couldn't walk into your business with an unsigned check.... Literally the only issues for cashing my check was it was signed up on walking into your establishment. If you could please inform me how I would manage to have an unsigned check in my scenario I would very much like to know. Once again, I'm sure you guys are even aware that you aren't the first choice anyone would use to cash a check for basically free at the issuing bank. So knowing all of this why are your fees such a substantial amount higher than the issing bank? Maybe situations like this? I don't see how in 2024 this is an issue for you guys and again like I said knowing how the procedure works and you say "just" get another check issued to you and brinfg it back... Well first off I won't be bringing anything back so also as if it's not a big deal at all to just .... Go get another check issued... You are garbage.

Horrible just horrible! Please don't go here unless you feel like having your time wasted ! Tried to cash a check on Friday wasn't able to due to them being unable to verify funds. Come back Monday morning they call verify the funds then tell me they can't cash it because its already signed?!! So I have to get a new one reissued and then come in and sign it there? Needless to say I won't be returning back to this location ever again!!

DONT CASH YOUR CHECK AT THIS SPECIFIC LOCATION, my friend cashed a check there and someone (one of the workers) duplicated the check and cashed it again, the bank let our boss know and is investigating

Just had a very odd experience at this location. Went to cash a check as my online banking doesnt offer check cashing yet. Was told I had a balance, which I don't recall but if I'm told I owe a debt..I want to pay it. The next thing that was asked of me was for the stub that was attached to the check. I was fine with this to, and provided it. I actually had the entire envelope as this was a withdrawal check from my employers 401k..she then said she needed to make a call to verify. I told her at this point I'd take this to another establishment as I've never ever encountered either question..she had my check still and told me she needed to make a copy!?!? She made a copy and then handed the check back to me. Was I just about to be scammed? Is this concerning? I felt the first red flag when I was told I owed a balance and I had never step foot on that store before. I'm happy to say I went somewhere else, wasn't asked for the paper work attached to the check (never ever ever encountered that) and didn't need any phone calls to verify. The second establishment (Ace Cash) was quick, and I was in and out without feeling like I was just about scammed out of money..thank goodness I cashed my check right away. Would this woman have tried to scam me out of it at MoneyTree? I don't know..but I'm glad I left.

I had a great experience. needed to pay off an existing loan and Get another Jake Helped me he was very knowledgeable and helpful. I definitely will Continue to use this location and recommend it to family and friends.

Jake and Jostin awesome workers work really hard, fast, and reliable workers. Always on there A game would always come back to money tree. They always give me a great experience when I go cash my checks would recommend out of every money tree in Denver always fast service forsure 5 stars.
