Do yourself a huge favor and keep your business for someone who actually cares about their clients. After over 2 years, our taxes never even were filed. Now, after another 2 years, our new CPA has found so many errors and issues with what we received from Trevor that we finally just figured it out with the IRS. Wish I could give zero stars for the lack of attention to actual detail.

We’ve spent the last year cleaning up the mess Trevor and this company made of our taxes. We’ve had to pay a new CPA to review and file three years of taxes that were done incorrectly by Trevor, who refused to take responsibility for his incompetence. After months of ignoring our emails after we got a letter from the IRS stating our taxes were filed incorrectly, his response was that the IRS was the one who made the mistake.

We have nothing but the best things to say about this firm. Ever since we were referred to BJ by my close friend, who is a very successful dentist and owns her own practice, we have never looked back. We have been using BJ for all our tax needs for the last 7 years and have never been disappointed. We own multiple investment properties, have kids in college and aging parents - our finances are not simple, but BJ and his firm has made it simple and have always delivered. These are top notch professionals, who are extremely knowledgeable in their field (know the tax code inside out) and have always treated us with respect. We strongly recommend McGraw&McGraw for their integrity, professionalism, knowledge, and exceptional customer service.

As a small business owner, proper management of funds is key. Unfortunately, and directly on account of Trevor at McGraw and McGraw, 2021 was the most financially stressful year my business has had to date. Trevor prepared my taxes, advising that I would be owing over $7,000. I received a refund check from the IRS months later for over $6,000. I requested follow up from the office as to what happened with the treatment of my account, but received no response. After 6 months of requests for an explanation (which is the very least a professional company could do), I've given up. I do not recommend trusting a dollar of anyone's work to this company.

Trevor is terrible at this & really messed up my taxes. I'd been using them for several years, but that was his father who did great. I was passed off to Trevor who told me I'd owe a lot the upcoming year so I needed to prepay. He did my taxes & it showed I still owed a ton. I asked if he'd included the prepayments I'd made & he replied that no one ever listened to him, so he didn't think I had done it. He readjusted & I still owed a lot. I was understandably upset, but started making my payments. Turns out he never looked @ my previous tax returns, didn't pay attention to what I inquired about, & hadn't included my mortgage write off, which I had reminded him of when I asked why it was so different than the previous years. Now I have to reconcile with the IRS & refile so that I don't have a debt with them. His response was that they weren't given all of the info & took no responsibility. The worst!

I can't say enough good things about this accountant. I work with Trevor. My long time business started to surge a few years ago. Trevor has come in and relieved me of much work. He has put my financials completely online and at my fingertips, which I have tried to get previous accountants to accomplish for years. He keeps track of my tax liability, so that I never have a big tax bill at the end of the year. Does my payroll, with direct deposits. Sales taxes, which is very complicated for a delivery based business. Keeps me informed with everything. The key for a successful business is having the right business partners for support. McGraw CPA's is the right accounting partner.

Started with this company the end of 2017. In 2018, the CPA I worked with was supposed to be adjusting my quarterlies so I could avoid a big old bill at the end of the year like I did in 2017. All through the year, I kept reminding him to make sure he was adjusting. He assured me he was. In November of 2018, I asked him to estimate what the end of the year was going to look like but he kept saying he needed to see what the income was going to be. (I said to estimate but he just procrastinated saying the government was shut down anyway.) By the end of January, still no estimate of what I owed. Fired him, got his father, the owner. More of the same. It's now the end of May. Owner said it would be better if my new accountant does my taxes. Horrible horrible experience.
