Had an appointment for 3pm for an alignment on Tuesday August 27th. i was told initially that they were backed up, but would do their best to have the alignment done before business end.
5min. before closing was given the verdict that the alignment could not be completed and was basically told my front control arms on my car were failing. Was given the hefty repair estimate, and asked to leave my car overnight to have work done the next morning. Told the female tech "no thanks" and booked a next day morning appointment with another shop.
The other shop disproved the claim that my front control arms were failing. The tech performed a road test, a physical examination, and took an extra step to get his supervisor, and another tech involved to double check his assessment. There was NOTHING wrong with my car's control arms, and had no problem performing the alignment on my car in a timely manner. This other shop saved me from spending $1500 that this location quoted me for work that didn't need to be done. The other shop that worked on my car was ANOTHER BRAKES PLUS.
Integrity is everything and the lady that helped me doesn't have it. There were multiple chances to make this situation right. I could have rescheduled if offered instead the employees that worked on my car chose to cut corners. No road test performed, no 20 point inspection was made, no follow up communication, and I was given a bold face lie that could have cost me a lot of money. I will not be returning to this location, nor will I recommend this Brakes plus to anyone I know.
I am seriously disappointed. Mechanics are getting a bad rep for taking advantage of people and this experience was no different.

I recently visited Brakes Plus and had an outstanding experience. Zoe was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond to ensure that I was well taken care of and that all my concerns were addressed. Her professionalism and friendly demeanor made the visit smooth and stress-free. It's not often you find such excellent customer service, and I highly recommend Brakes Plus, especially if you have the pleasure of being assisted by Zoe!

I came into brakes plus with a terrible noise in the front end of my car and I had to be out of my apartment in less than 24 hrs. Although I didn’t have an appointment and they were short staffed Tevy was great and was able to find parts for my 2001 car. She continued to keep my up to date on the progress and was professional and friendly the entire time. I can’t say enough about her customer service.

Made an appointment for an oil change, alignment, and brake check. All they accomplished in 4 1/2 hours was the oil change because they said they were too busy. Why continue to take appointments if you’re too busy?

Well I took my wife's car to our local brakes plus here in Arvada. I was a little trepidatious about the whole situation until I spoke with Zoe and she put everything at ease. To say there's angels on earth would be an understatement when referring to this lady. Zoe just went above and beyond everything I expected and was so kind and helpful. She made sure everything was thoroughly checked with the brakes and put my wife and I at peace with everything. She was so kind and professional that I will always come back to brakes Plus because of her professionalism and all the staff at that location and other locations that this woman Zoe shares her light at. I really see her going far with the wonderful personality and attitude that she possesses. Thank you so much Zoe and thank you brakes plus for this wonderful experience and allowing us to know that our brakes are safe.

poor quality of work. oil change is terrible. poured into the level of oil above the allowable, had to return the next day to fix it.
terrible department. I made an appointment at 8am, 3 hours passed, my car was not even touched. It was just an alignment. Wasted time. The manager was disrespectful and told me not to come again, this is how they love their regular customers

Had to bring my car over for additional work from a master Technician, and Zoe, Les and Matt were all great! Zoe was very helpful and fun to talk with and helped with all the information we needed. Matt and team who worked on my car were efficient and prompt. I appreciate all of you and what you do to get us drivers safely back on the road! We have always had a great experience at Brakes Plus.( 92nd and 120th & Sheridan) Thanks for everything!!

Honestly, this staff went above and beyond to resolve an issue I was having with my vehicle. Took multiple visits and lots of patience but they didn’t give up and offered options to find a solution. Thank you to the techs and assistant manager.

I made an appointment on 08/10/2024 at 8 am, arrived and left the car, they told me to wait a few hours, I arrived 3 hours later, no one even started working on my car, they said we have 20 cars in the queue, you are not the only one, WHY SHOULD MAKE AN APPOINTMENT if it means nothing. As a result, we said we can give you the keys and so that you don’t come back here again. “Excellent service”
