Oh my lord what a scary place. It's kinda out of the Twilight Zone and made me question my choices in ending up there asking for a room. The woman owner, I could assume, HATED me from the moment I opened my mouth to ask for their rate. I could feel her judgment and paranoia and I literally got away from her as fast as I could walk back to the truck. She then spied on me, hiding behind a door (in what felt like a paranormal mother of a "Norman Bates" moment out of the movie Psycho) and watching my every move as if I were trespassing for just stopping in looking for accomodations. Abort mission, eject from the anchor motel parking lot. The grounds were irrily clean with the smell of ammonia and moth balls.... She scared me deep down inside. Lady there's more to life then whatever you got going on, or down at the ⚓ motel. ...Avoid avoid avoid.

I am an 83 yr old woman and was turned away at night because I had a small dog. While the manager explained that too many people are allergic to dogs, her dog was roaming freely in the lobby. Now I'm trying to sleep in a truck stop parking lot.

The owner was very helpful and friendly.
We had a problem with the air conditioning but it took care of it the next day.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
It is a good place to use as a base for exploring the area.

Stopped there while riding through colorado. Place was clean , beds were nice and the owners live on site and were very nice and even mailed me the belongings I accidentally left there .. Great place great price and great people. 5 thumbs up !!!

Our group stayed here 6/6/23; we loved this little gem. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable the AC kept us comfortable. Check in was easy, owners live on site, and the price was a stealThe owners came and checked on us to see if we needed anything and recommended places to eat in town. Food was good at the Mexican restaurant and the coffee shop was great. I would give them 10 stars if I could

Great motel with Wonderful owners who care. Stayed here for a little over a week. Clean rooms mine had a microwave and mini fridge in it. Awesome maids who care. Felt very safe here and quiet at night. Looking for a place to stay while in town I Highly recommend this place.

Don’t let the outside appearance fool you into thinking it’s a cheapie motel. It’s really nice inside and everything is spotless.

nice little motel with clean, comfortable rooms. only stayed one night but was great for a place to sleep. The staff I talked to were friendly. would stay there again.

We took a step back in time in a 3 bed unit with the kids. This place was not bad at all. And there was no grouchy lady that other reviews talked about.. The water pressure is amazing the beds are clean and the lighting is soft and calming like being in my parents house when I was a kid and the towels are plentiful. We snapped a family photo Infront if the iconic anchor ⚓ and headed to the ranch.
