Best place and old school hospitality.

Stopped for propane and ended up getting diesel as well. The pumps are easy to access and if you are pulling a camper it’s worth the going off the main road to fill up here. Much easier than fighting the crowds on the main drag.

We were camping in late June, evidently it’s not unusual for unexpected snow storms in the campground we were at. We were very low on propane, family coming in. Corkle was not open on Saturdays, but had an alternate number to call. They immediately took care of our needs and refilling our propane tanks. We were looking at an hour drive to Laramie or Granby. The wife was very pleasant And we were very thankful. Small-town businesses take care of their people

They may be the only place in Walden to fill propane tanks. The service was fast and friendly. Instead of buying ethanol-free fuel in Denver I'll buy it at Corkle and not have to transport the weight of 30+ gallons of fuel over the pass. Gas and diesel pumps are open 24 hours a day.

We came to Walden to haul some Cattle we arrived Fri night to load early next morning. We needed a place to park our semi along with about 10 or 12 other trucks. We saw a Corkle Oil Co sign and drove to it. There was a gentleman fueling his delivery truck so we asked him if there was any place we could park our semi & he offered his propane lot , & a empty lot right there on main Street.Close to eating places & a store & a nice little bar where we played some pool.We didn't catch his name but he was very nice, and very helpful and we all appreciated his kindness along with the waitress at rock Creek cafe & the stockman barThanks so much for your kindness to a bunch of truckers from Nebraska.
