Amazing hotel to be in the heart of Vail. Can't fault the staff, room or the location.

Good spot away from the hustle and bustle of Vail and relatively nice accommodations.
Unfortunately, I left a beloved dress behind in the closet of the hotel room, and I didn't realize it until three or so weeks after my stay. When I called to check on it, I was informed that they only keep lost and found items for 30 days. I was within 30 days; however, no dress in the lost and found.
I know that it is 100% my problem and responsibility that I left something behind. Yet, each room has a room number and it's not difficult to connect that room number to a guest with contact information. I would also expect there to be a pretty clear ethic and expectation amongst hotel employees to not keep things that aren't theirs. Anyhow, I won't be back.

The Tivoli Lodge was exceptional. The room exceeded all expectations. What a beautiful property. All the staff members were courteous and attentive. We especially enjoyed meeting the bartender who has been there 17 years.

Rooms are a bit older. Pillows are flat. No USB charging in the room. Great location, front desk was nice. No parking left when we arrived. Had to park in main Vail lot. That was $10 cheaper. Walk was about 5 mins. Would go back.

The property is a bit dated but still pretty good especially the tower rooms. The reason I gave a 2 star is due to the staff.
Starting from check-in and guest requests to check-outs, the staff was borderline rude. I think that is because we didn’t utilise the overpriced valet parking of $45. They also advertised free e-bikes and we had to wait for more than an hour for them to be available. I think they only have a couple of e-bikes and you have to wait. Although the guy who brought us the e-bikes was good.
The breakfast is not included with the stay, they charge for coffee pods if you use more than 2 in your room, the hot tub is very basic and not at all worth what they are charging. The rooms also do not have a bath tub.
I had requested a special note for my anniversary on the phone with the hotel but instead of writing the actual content, they wrote a generic message and put the chocolate flavored strawberries in the fridge (should be at the entrance of the room for display). They charged $25 just for keeping those strawberries in the fridge…
I will definitely not be staying here again.

My family booked a last minute trip to Vail during the off season - and came across Tivoli Lodge as we were looking for pet friendly accommodations. This hotel charges a flat $100/stay rate for pets, which I actually found to be in line with or less expensive than other hotels in the area.
From check in until check out, we felt like we were family here. We were promptly greeted at check in, escorted to our room and wow - the accommodations of our room were outstanding! The bed was so comfortable - it was soft and plenty of pillows. The towels in the bathroom are incredibly soft, and we were provided with robes to use during our stay. It’s so quiet here!!
The front desk staff remembered our children’s names and were so considerate. I always appreciate when people take the time to acknowledge our kids, it’s kind and thoughtful.
The hotel location is great - easy walking distance to Vail Village, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. a few places were closed during our off season visit, but only the first night of our stay.
The hot tub was perfect - they have fresh pool towels at the front desk, and we enjoyed it all to ourselves the first night!
Look forward to staying here again sometime soon in the future.

Nice facility and solid housekeeping but it's the staff that makes a fine hotel and the front desk staff was unsmiling and borderline rude throughout my stay. They like to sit in the back room and there's no bell at the front desk to summon them, so there's always a wait at the front desk. I got so tired of their curt attitudes that I checked out a day early on my prepaid reservation. From here it looks like short staffing and definitely inadequate training in hospitality. This is the kind of hotel experience that keeps AirBnB and VRBO so popular and I certainly won't be going back to this hotel.

Stayed here a couple years back (thought I left a review). Front desk was incredibly rude when they were clearly in the wrong (mind you - they yelled at me over something very small that was a miscommunication on their end)… Tony I think was his name (but they maybe lied about his name), called me profanities under his breath in front of other guests (and not realizing I was still standing there). Despite other guests complaining - nothing was done.
Additionally our showers were missing plumbing (for example, the handle for turning on the shower was missing).
They offered me a voucher to come back for a free night, but I’d rather sleep in my car than to be called profanities by staff and be placed in a room that seems to be in the middle of renovations. Maybe they’ve improved, but I’d rather spend my money elsewhere. Location was nice though!
