What a great experience. Everyone was super friendly and Luke patiently talked with me about my boots and worked for a long time to get them fit properly. Luke was just fantastic - I learned more about my existing boots than I ever did when I bought them. Go here to learn about skiing and boarding - doesn't matter if you're not partial to Salomon.

Fantastic staff with a great selection of all sorts of skills and snowboarding equipment. They spend a huge amount of time with you getting your ski boots properly fitted, including making runs on them to make sure they are right.

I give 5 stars - twice!Luke was amazing and so incredibly helpful with my super tight Surefoot boots.He must have spent around 2 hours with me and helped fix two problems with my boots that I hadn’t been able to successfully address for years anywhere else. I finally have boots that work great for me!!(I was there last week. I hope the store is not “temporarily closed” as posted on Google Maps!)

The entire shop has great vibes. Yet LUKE went above and beyond helping me fix my boot. Evening adding some mojo to the boot itself. If you’re in need of a good service, I wouldn’t look anywhere else.

This follows my review of 1/25/23. I was still having a little trouble with my right boot (it's always hard to tell how a boot repair will work until you've skied with the boot), so I came back to the store, and again, Luke spent half an hour with me, again, for nothing, and with those last tweaks, the boot worked great. Today was my best day on the mountain.

Had my boots customized by Luke and it was by far one of the best experiences I've had at any ski store. Not only does he know his gear in and out, he's a great guy! Highly recommended! Very professional.

Salomon is garbage. My wife has Salomon snowboard boots with about 20 days on them over the course of 4 years. The boots have a STR8JKT system and the plastic anchor portion of the boot broke. Salomon refuses to replace a part that costs pennies and was used on a significant number of their boots for many many years because the boots are out of 2 year warranty. There are still companies that believe in customer service and quality construction. Salomon believes in neither. Do not purchase their products.

I have been looking all over and online for a pair of discontinued Salomon shoes. Luke searched and found one store in the US that had them and he's getting them shipped to the Vail store. Amazing customer service!

The dude working just missed out on a 100% sale. Stood there for awhile, shoe I wanted to try on in hand. Didn’t even acknowledge me. Only 1 other person in store. All I needed was a “hello” or “I’ll be right with you”. I guess maybe if I looked more like tourists in town I would have gotten some acknowledgment. As someone who has worked retail earlier in life, it was pretty sad.

Luke was far and away the most helpful boot fitter I’ve ever worked with. He listened to every single detail, asked excellent questions, was incredibly patient and intent on ensuring we selected the best boot for my foot. Could not recommend more.

Ian quickly helped me when I walked in with my boots. My boss needed some heat in order to soften them up. Overall, super knowledgeable group of guys.
