The location was great. Literally in middle of Lionshead Village. So all the shops, restaurants and gondola are at your footsteps. It’s also a nice walk to Vail Village, which has even more options for food and shopping. We visited in July so the hot summer did make the room a bit uncomfortable since there is no AC. At nighttime, we kept the patio door open to try to get some cooler evening air into the room but still a bit warm. Luckily our room was equipped with a fan. The receptionist was super helpful and we were able to park in the on-site parking lot. Would highly recommend for the location and I’m sure the lack of AC isn’t a problem in cooler weather ?

What an awesome experience we had! Location!!! Right in the heart of everything. The studio is very updated and perfect for three women. We had our own food each morning and snacks. The view!! Brittney was so friendly and brought us extra blankets when we asked. Will stay here again for sure.

Spoke with Brittany at the front desk and she was super easy to talk to. It was right at 5pm as she was closing and she took a little extra time to speak with me. Very thankful.

I do not usually write reviews but after reading all a negative review about Britney I felt it was necessary. When we arrived for our stay Britney was welcoming and extremely nice. She is a perfect example of what someone in the hospitality business should be. Made check in a seamless process and explained the property very well. Her furry friend (dog) was also a pleasant surprise after travels all day!Not having AC in mountain towns is not out of the ordinary as it cools off every night. All you have to do is crack a window and use the tower fan that is in every room. Lifthouse is in the premier location for summer and winter months as it’s walking distance to everything. Best bang for your buck in my opinion.I highly recommend to anyone!

It would've been nice to have air conditioning and toaster that worked properly. Room was ok, not many plug ins for charging devices.

One of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had. No A/C but advertised as Dog Friendly... Brittany(front desk/managr/supposed owner) should not be in hospitality industry.

Reserved through Expedia... no where in the description of the room did it say that the complex had no AC. When we arrived, the woman at the front desk was extremely rude. She said that it was on the actual website and we shouldn't have used Expedia and if we did it the "right way" we would have known there was no AC during the summer. I checked... it is not stated on their website when you go to make a reservation. She refused to refund us and said "better luck next time".First thing on Expedia is "DOG FRIENDLY HOTEL" ....when the heat index is 85, and there's no window I can leave open without leaving the door to the balcony open, I cannot leave my dog in the room. We came up for a two day trip and had to cancel kayaking, and we couldn't go into any shops. For our first time at Vail, which is supposed to be the NICEST mountain town around, for us to pay upwards of $700 for a two night stay, where we didn't even stay the second night, the least we could ask for was air condition.Lastly, we get home and because we had to the leave the balcony door open for the duration of our trip, we had bugs that seem to be "fabric / webbing cloth moths" embedded in a multitude of our t shirts. Absolutely repulsive. We will be going to the better business bureau. I highly recommend you not staying here during the summer months, or if you want good customer service. We had to leave early because we could not even take a shower after a long day of hiking at 89 degrees. We were not lied to but we were most definitely deceived. Hope this saves someone from a ruined trip.

Five of us rented from Vail Bike Tech. They were super helpful and had the bikes ready for us. We just needed to have them fit and then loaded up on the van. In the meantime we let the Golden and the St Bernard. They were very informative and attentive. We have ridden the East bound Vail bike pass several times and loved it. One note, the west bound was way more steep and challenging. We had a beginning rider and he did crash when a biker passed him on a steep curve. He was scraped up and the other biker hurt her ankle. Then the bike trail goes along the highway for a mile at the top of Vail pass. It was hot, lots of exhaust, and definitely not enjoyable or super safe. The bike path also goes along a road, which was fine for the 13 year old but a little concerning if we had taken little kids. The last half of the trail was beautiful. As much as I love the east bound Vail pass bike trip I will not do the West bound Vail pass bike trip again. But the bike shop was wonderful.

The Lift House Lodge Vail is a very nice place to stay. It's great that they accept dogs as well.
