This hotel is super conveniently located, walkable to lots of things via a pretty trail throughout town, and also the intown bus. Love that it’s dog friendly and reasonably priced in an otherwise high cost area!

Awesome location if your travels take you to the Vail Valley Medical Center or The Steadman Clinic.

The stay was decent, after a long travel day, we got there for check in and had to wait, the man was nice but the woman behind him couldn’t care less. Later that evening we called the desk for an inquiry on breakfast in the morning, and we were hung up on. The pastries served at breakfast were cheap and cardboard like. This was the cheapest hotel around vail but still way overpriced,. Stayed in a MUCH nicer place in MOAB, Utah for much less. Oh, also the hot tub was scorching, myself and other visitors could really only be in it for 5-10 minutes without feeling groggy. One last thing, my family was waiting to get onto the elevator (which a housekeeper just got off of) we waited for her to get off and she let the door close, with no care and no apology, just very rude. The most redeeming quality was nice bathroom with two sinks, and comfy bed.

A place very consistent with the price and very well located a few steps from the commercial area of Vail and a few steps from the hospital and three bus stops.Additionally, the staff is very attentive and helpful.I was staying from February 5 to 9, 2024 and at the counter they supported me with my questions in Spanish.I am particularly grateful to José and Valeria, a very pretty girl who both helped me enormously. The service girls are very attentive, I take this opportunity to thank Heidi, one of these very nice girls.Recommended hotel regarding the price.Rooms: Good size and comfortable.According to the priceNearby activities: Close to the Vail shopping area, restaurants and close to 3 bus stopsSafety: Without any security mishap, everything was fine.Walkability: Close to the library and hockey arena and trails to walk and enjoy scenery.

The good:+ Amazing staff+ Great location+ Good services on site at a fair price (laundry & ski/board tuning, sharpening, & waxing)The opportunities:- Dated rooms (and the most overly complex shower/tub faucet I’ve ever seen)- WiFi is nearly unusable from room- Resort fee surpriseThe details:Stayed here for almost a week. The staff has been very helpful and responsive (eg fan wasn’t working in my room and they immediately replaced it … accidentally left do not disturb on my door after I left and they offered to clean my room when I got back and realized the mistake.)Laundry: far cheaper onsite than any laundromat within 70 miles. DONT use both washing machines at same time as floor drain may (did) overflow.Change machine only accepts $1, $5, $10 but I was able to break a $20 at the front desk.Tuning services:Fantastic! They’re done overnight and are back at the hotel around 4:30am… so plenty early enough after dropping them off after a full day on the slopes.Shuttle to Vail:Walk out the back, down the outside stairs to the walkway… where the walkway splits take a LEFT. Hoover the bridge and then turn right to get to either of the bus stops depending where you want to go. Bus stops have an easy to read map and time of when the bus will show.FYI: when you leave your board/skis on the lobby rack (not allowed in rooms) they’ll move them to lean against the wall/window in the Venture Sports shop. If the gate is closed & locked the front desk staff can open it up for you. (Only had to do that once when I was out by 7am).$1 Wing Wednesday at the bar was great! Though they were very understaffed.Nepalese restaurant was also good (curry was amazing!)————- was surprised by the resort fee- both saunas need the nails pounded down again so they don’t burn you (or just sit on a towel)- left dry sauna heat dial doesn’t work.- hot tub can be either a nice _hot_ tub or a _luke warm_ tub.- exercise room is minimal but functional- I did better using my 1 bar of LTE than the hotel WiFi from my room.- can be noisy. walls seem thin. May want earplugs to block out noise.

This hotel's location is very convenient for accessing the slopes and the restaurants at Lionshead Village. It's less than a 10-minute walk to both, and if you'd rather take the complimentary city shuttle, it's just a few steps away. There is an outdoor pool, indoor hot tub, a small fitness room, a bar, and an Indian restaurant onsite. The lobby is pleasant with ample seating and a fireplace. The rooms are simple but comfortable with coffee maker and mini-fridge, they are quite spacious. The hotel provides free parking and ski storage, which is quite convenient. Breakfast is basic, with tea, coffee, fruits, Danish pastries, and yogurt. You may want to plan ahead if you need something more substantial to start the day. The overall vibe is very casual, and the staff is super friendly. We'd definitively go back when visiting Vail!

Awful experience when blizzard conditions exist and roads closed. I called 3 days before my 1 night stay to cancel my booking due to upcoming weather. I had to make multiple calls over the last few days to people who didn't have the authority to help. I was finally told they wouldn't cancel my $400 reservation. Beware NON-REFUNDABLE - stay somewhere else where they care about your safety.

Stayed for a week and loved it. Rooms were clean, staff was helpful and attentive. Will stay again for sure !Also enjoyed Altitudes and the Indian restaurant. It is right adjacent to the lobby which was very convenient. Overall would recommend the evergreen for a central stay in vail for anyone !Walking distance to Lionshead was also awesome !!
