I would have give zero if possible. Only self checkout open. I would have went to Walmart if I wanted piss poor service. Then when I needed to pay $59.99 on a $75 amount, I couldn't because Only one card could be used. I get $59.99 daily from the company I work for. The self service attendant deleted my purchase and said that I would have to go to a full service register. Of course none were opened. A fro t end manager was helping someone at a full register checkout and told the guys behind the person she helping that she was closed. I asked who was the manager on duty. She said she was. I asked loudly in front of the customers why isn't there a full service register open for the customers. The self checkout attendant said she was there at the register. I said she just told a elder gentleman that shw was closed. She changed her mind, turned on the light and then said she was open. At that point 6 people got in line before I could. The self check out registers also had lines. I left my food in the basket and left. I will keep my money and you can keep the food with the piss poor service.

I stopped at the Safeway gas station on Friday, September 6th, at 12:20 PM and had a terrible experience with the two ladies working. I had purchased a Diet Coke, but when I got to my car and took a sip, it was warm. I went back inside to let them know, and they admitted that all the Diet Cokes were warm because they had just restocked them. I politely asked if I could exchange it for a different drink. However, they refused to exchange or refund it because I had "already taken a sip." This response was baffling, considering that it was their fault for selling a warm drink. It's not like they could resell it anyway! The staff was incredibly rude, inconsiderate, and apathetic, which made the situation even more stressful as I was on the road for hours. This is unacceptable customer service, look else where for fule and snacks.

Looking for a nice Starbucks break? Keep going! We exited the highway from a very long road trip, tricked by highway ads for Starbucks, which is actually inside this grocery store. Wanted coffee and restroom break. Big mistake. 1 restroom located in back stockroom, locked. Had to hunt down someone with a key. Others in line discussed being in the exact same bait/switch scenario as us. Safeway cashier and worker with bathroom key were nice and made an effort to assist, but I'd describe the whole experience as SNAFU /FUBAR. This Starbucks had its own shortcomings and I'll make note of those on their business review.

I always loved Safeway in trinidad~ thanks to all the friendly people that work there and all the fantastic groceries for the last 10 years since I retired from the Army and moved to Trinidad. Cheers ? Here's a toast to Safeway ✌️???

What a mess! Only due to absolute necessity should a person stop here. And don't get me started on Starbucks. 8 plus people in line with 1 barista. Come on, either do it right or don't do it at all.
