Put it this way seems since merged with Chemical bnk TCF turned from a down home bank into chemical waste bank. Return items are less then the fees they charge to not pay it. They won't pay it sopposedly amount to much for an OD. But yet their fees are way more then the debit. Then they make you feel like a penny waiting for change

I’d rather die a painful horrible death than bank here. Customer service is not only brain dead but rude and intrusive. They make you wait for EVER even though there’s plenty of people doing absolutely nothing. None of their signage is using proper grammar. What a waste of space, life, and time. USELESS!!!!!Do yourself a favor and bank anywhere else.

God bless you if you are using these jokers. If you are employed and help them enforce these practices shame on you as well. Go to Ent. Credit Union and it will be apparent very quickly how tcf preys on there customer base.

Customer service at this branch is incredibly disappointing. I had a little incident today where I dropped a ton of coins as I was depositing it into the coin machine. Nobody offered to assist me or even offer me a broom. I had to pick up all of them by hand from the dirty/nasty floor. Not acceptable at all when I have been to this branch many times before in the past and my family has been banking with them for years. Thank you for making me realize that you guys are not worth my business anymore!

Find a reputable bank to do business elsewhere. I went in on Friday January 18th and deposited a live check of $1,961.96 with $460 cash back. I was told that funds would be available the next day (Saturday) in my checking account. Over the weekend I use my TCF card to make some purchases for my family and personal use and incurred six -$37 overdraft fees. I called online banking and was told they can only help me with credit of $56 in overdraft fees. What a joke TCF. I am down -$166 in overdraft fees, and account still showing $1,506.70 in deposit.

I have been a member of TCF Bank since 2011 so there doing something right ... actually a lot of things right ....
I originally signed up with TCF bank when they use to go out to local business and set up booths - talking with customers as they left the store they were shopping at ...and I lived in Aurora at the time. I still remember the gentleman who helped me’s name.. I believe it was Kale.. anyways he let me know that TCF had a great promo for signing up. He pointed out some of the advantages of joining TCF bank ..and he kept it really clear, factual, to the point. I appreciated that...
After moving back to the Thornton area in 2013.. I started going to this location.. There was a banker named Gloria that I absolutely adored .. she was always so friendly .. so naturally kind and happy to see you.. and you knew her integrity alone would combat any mistakes from happening ... you could tell that Gloria looked forward to seeing each and every person who walked through those doors...and it was contagious because I looked forward to seeing her too.. Katie who is currently there is also a banker of integrity .. and is always so sweet and pleasant to guest.. yet she is capable to resolve conflicts with fact and resolution.. and if you let her .. she’ll put a smile on your face each and every time...
I feel bad not being able to name the other staff members but they are all so wonderful..
One last thing that is noteworthy about TCF is that although they are not based in Colorado. You almost wouldn’t be able to tell.. they get involved in local events and contribute to our communities..being a part of Broomfield Days, amongst other local events ... When I worked near this location and the company I was working for had us go out and try and sign people up for memberships ... TCF allowed me to speak with customers on their property ..once the customer was done with their banking and as long as I had schedule a slot of time...that was very nice of them to let me do that .. not many places would...
All in all.. this is a great bank , a wonderful staff you look forward to seeing.. and I plan to continue with them for as long as i can. ;) thank you guys..

Zak, the branch supervisor, took time to listen to a problem that happened with my daughters fairly new teen account and her work deposits. He handled it professionally. When I came to the bank to pick up a letter he and the manager wrote for my daughter's work, they also refunded her the $20 check fee. Amazing team work. Thank you TCF!

DONT USE THEM! There teller cashed a check and everything was good until suddenly the whole missing ! They claimed it a "bad check " so they closed the account and didnt call to notify anyone. Then charged me 200 IN FEES!! By the way the check was FINE payroll confirmed it !!
