I came in on a Sat evening and was looking to purchase an ultra light rod and reel set for my daughter and a new bait caster and rod combo along with a spinning reel and rod for myself. I walked around for a good 10 mins without seeing a single employee before deciding to go the customer service counter to ask for assistance. The woman at the counter radioed for help in the fishing section and somebody from hunting came over and told me that since I was looking at the more expensive reels they were behind glass and he didn’t have a key. Once he finally found the key I got to check out what I came in to purchase and I was told that he had no clue where they keep these reels and I would have to wait for the guy who runs the fishing dept to return from lunch in 30 mins. Frustrated I agreed to wait so I went around and gathered around $300 worth of new jerk baits and plastics. Walking around for about 45 mins and still nobody to help me I went back to the counter and was told that the guy had actually gone home and wouldn’t be back. I got so irritated that I dropped everything I had and walked out. If Sportsman’s Warehouse doesn’t want my money I have no problem going to Cabela’s! I will not be using this company again anytime in the future!

Decent selection of firearms, and accessories. Some of the employees don't even know what the policies are. Sad that they don't read the sticker on the door they pass by every day. It's kind of irritating how one employee tried to ridicule me about a policy he didn't even understand. ??

Called into ask about a backpack, a shrewd angry man yelled at me saying "I dun recunize that name" (Referencing Deuter, not that uncommon). Would rate 0 stars if I can, please consider a job that isn't customer facing my good dude.

I used to love Sportsman's Warehouse, but no more. The chain in general, and this store specifically, seems to have continued to go down-hill post Covid. Sportsman's Warehouse website showed a product as in-stock. Repeated attempt to phone this store to confirm stock were not answered. Drove across town, inquired with a store associate about stock of the specific item, was told they weren't even going to look. If it's not on the shelf, they couldn't help me because "THERE AREN'T ENOUGH EMPLOYEES IN THE STORE TO LEAVE THE THE COUNTER", and that "Corporate" has been making it worse for the employees. So, the executive leadership of Sportman's Warehouse is out of touch, the employees are in open revolt. Not a pleasant or productive shopping experience.

They have a good selection of camping necessities. Nice knives (way too expensive for me to afford). All in all it's a good store.
