Had to have my girlfriend's car towed to the shop after it broke down driving. They diagnosed the issue as a dead fuel pump, They quoted $1500 to replace it, along with a $200 charge for the diagnosis (fuel pumps should be super easy to diagnose, you either hear it or don't). I told them no, and ended up paying another $200 to tow it out. I fixed it myself with a $300 OE equivalent part and an hour and a half of work. Only positive is that the guys up front were nice and helpful.

I was quoted $230.00 for a transmission fluid and filter change on my 2014 chevy Silverado. When I picked up my truck I was told that there was a leak on my pan gasket. I asked why it would leak if they just changed the filter and the gasket. I was told they didn’t change the filter that I specifically asked for. They said to bring it back in the morning and they would make it right, I did and was told that it would cost me $650.00 to replace the filter. Wouldn’t recommend using Service Street

DO NOT GO HERE! GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE! This is the biggest scam of a shop that I have ever seen. They practice very Predatory tendencies twords women, they lie about prices, labor times and even steal people's parts. Not to mention stating nonexistent laws to trap you into doing work. This company has a rating of 1.14/5 on the BBB website so please beware and take your vehicle somewhere else, you will be better off!

If I could give 0 stars would, originally quoted $850 for labor to replace front and rear struts (which I provided the parts for) and ended up only getting the front struts done because the rear struts were not the right ones (my mistake) I was told the job would be done and my car would be ready same day, ended up taking over 24 hours for me to get my car back and they still charged me the same original quote of $850 because of a service they did that I didn’t approve because they didn’t ask me they just did it anyways and let me not forget to mention that they told me it would be cheaper because they were gonna charge me for the labor for the rear struts because my OEM ones were put back on, moral of the story, please save yourself from headache and borderline robbery and DONT GO HERE!

Do not go there unless $$$ or morals are of no concern to you. Sadly this place is just like all the other shoddy places now. Their canned cut/paste generic responses to the growing reviews of 1’s and 2’s is telling.
We brought in an 8 yr old vehicle with weak A/C cooling. Never had any issues before. $600 later they “fixed” it 2 yrs ago.
Less than <6K miles later it is worse than before. Brought back in and they gouged my wife for $600 again to put in $100 of freon?
Called to find out the deal and they said we need to bring it in each year for AC work and it is a year overdue. Who can afford $600 every year for A/C for 30 minutes of work? You force exhaustive diagnostic costs that are more than the actual work, and are not even logical or needed, nor manufacturer recommended to scam people that don’t know better.
So for $1,200 in 2 years, with no leaks were found, where did the freon that you last topped off go in 2 yrs ago? It never went anywhere for 8 yrs before that. Now it costs $600 to fill it up each time?
You couldn’t just check the freon Low and High pressure levels to know it is missing refrigerant? Or was it more likely you never filled it fully when you last worked on it! Or do you just skim off enough from each customer into your Freon Reclaim tank from their customers as places like this do?
Checked with auto dealer and they confirmed that "diagnostics" are never needed nor done for a simple A/C recharge every 2 yrs, we don’t recommend every 1 yr. “This should be no more than $200 to top off. If we serviced, you’re A/C in that short 2yrs of time ago (<4 yrs at least) and those low miles it should have just been topped off and be done. No one scams people for leak tests and diagnostics for something straightforward like that.”
Example: Hey my oil pressure is low. Ok, well we did $200 of diagnostics and you have no leaks in your engine or valve train or muffler bearings and breaker fluid tank.
Yah, I knew that, it was just low on oil.
Ok, well then, you are all set, we just need $200 more to top off your oil, bring $400 and you can pickup your car! Huh?

Extremely disappointed. Husband and I had been taking our car here for the last 9 months, but it seems in the few months we haven't been here management has changed and just want to steal money.
We both dropped our cars off for oil changed this week, and my husband's was finished first. They tried to tell my husband there was a lot of carbon build up and that he needed the degreaser treatment. He hasked them why they didn't do that when he paid them to do it two months prior, and was met with "oh sorry, I lied due to the age of the vehicle cause I figured it needed it, I didn't check the service records".
When mine was done I got a text that my vehicle needed an additional $700 of work. My alignment was bad, my tie rods needed to be replaced because my car was driving wonky, and there was a leak in the rear. I called to ask for clarification, because I just purchased this car and spent $3000 a few months prior having the brakes fixed, a long with a list of other items and a full inspection work up. Why was none of this found then, because I work from home and barely drive my car? To top it off, when I ask where the leak is, they tell me in my rear differential. My car is front wheel drive. IT DOES NOT HAVE A REAR DIFFERENTIAL. they stammer and say they have to ask the mechanic, but can send the pictures he took to prove the leak. The photo sent was not a differential (obviously) but was also not leaking. One photo, dry, no proof of anything else.
I'm not sure if they're just blatantly making things up because we've spent money with them in the past, or if they don't even bother to check the record and are making a money grab, or because I'm a woman. My brother is a mechanic and I know a fair bit about cars because I grew up helping him and my dad fix cars. I'm not an idiot. My alignment is straight as ever, there is no play or vibration on my steering, and the lie about the differential was the last straw.
When I picked up the vehicle, the notes about the differential were miraculously changed to "unidentified leak". Of course it was.

They have good service availability and low prices. However, that was all trumped by a major oversight on a simple oil change.
Within a couple minutes of getting on the highway this morning, I heard what sounded like something scraping on the bottom of my car. Upon pulling over and looking into the source of the noise, I discovered that the undercover panel which is removed during an oil change had not been properly reinstalled with ~half of the push-in pins and fasteners not secured in their proper holes. I proceeded to return home using side streets with lower speed limits so that the wind wouldn’t continue to cause the panel to scrape on the road.
I returned to the auto shop immediately at opening, explained that I had received an oil change the day before and that something hadn’t been reinstalled properly, and pointed out that this had caused damage to the panel. There was no apology from the representative, just a response saying, “We’ll take a look.” When my car was ready, I was passed back the keys and only told I was good to leave. Once again, no apology and no offer of any compensation for the damage, the inconvenience, etc. I even had to poke and prod to confirm that no fasteners had been lost while driving with an unsecured panel, that the damage I saw was the only damage to the panel, and that the damage to the panel was not something that required additional servicing. It was all much too nonchalant for an oversight that could have resulted in a panel falling off of my car on the highway and risking mine or someone else’s car and safety.
I won’t be returning for future auto service needs and would highly recommend going somewhere other than Service Street Auto Repair.

They had my vehicle inspected and my oil changed within 90 minutes. Comfortable waiting room and friendly staff. Quick service for an affordable price.
2024 Update - Had some more work done by Service Street and they did a great job. There was an odd rattling sound and Sam was able to get it repaired for me the same day.
