I've never seen such a caring staffTheir kindness, gentleness, kindness and compassion are unlike anything I have ever seen. I made the right choice choosing them for my vet

Riverdale office is very convenient and more intimate. The Washington location is fantastic for emergency appointments and is fast paced but always professional. Both locations have wonderful staff and take the extra mile for their patients. Highly recommend Community Pet hospitals for regular maintenance and special emergencies. They care!

We love community pet hospital! For the last 2 ish years we've taken all of our dogs to either this location or the Washington location. We had a very old rat terrier named, Rambo who required emergency services for an abscessed tooth. He was a complex dog with lots of issues and they not only listened to our concerns but gave him fantastic care and treatment over The Day year of his life. After that first visit, they became the vet we take all of our dogs to.This year we had to say goodbye to our old boy Rambo on short notice and they got us an appointment within the hour. It was a horrible day made better by their professionalism and empathy. They are kind, caring, and very much know what they are doing. They have done dental surgery/cleanings on our other two dogs that we currently have, which of course went very smooth and was an easy process. They also do the typical checkups and screenings which is very easy. I love that they use the app too, to refill prescriptions, make appointments, etc.11/10 would recommend this vet. We have yet to have a bad time with them. Unlike other vet offices, I don't feel like this is a vet where you go and they just push a bunch of unnecessary stuff on you, which I also appreciate

This business allowed me to schedule my dog for an appointment to have scans done that they do not have the equipment for. When I called to schedule the appointment I informed them that I had seen a vet who recommended I go to a pet hospital to have additional scans done to identify an issue. I was specific when communicating the information given to me by the prior vet and was told that they could perform imaging, but would have to schedule a consult first. At the end of the consult appointment I was told that they would not be able to perform the surgery that they think may be needed and given a list of specialty centers in the area that may be able to. No additional forms of imaging were completed. I called and spoke to the hospital manager after the fact, I was told that the front desk isn't medically trained to know what services can and connot be performed by the hospital and that I did not, "understand the complexity of the industry."To their credit they refunded the visit cost, but that does nothing for the time and energy wasted dealing with them rather than having my pet properly cared for.

We recently gave CPH on Riverdale a try after being price gouged by another local vet. The staff were pretty friendly with me and our 10yo kitty. She's been pulling at her fur and had some discomfort. I appriciate the Dr. examined and gave her injection right in front of me instead to "taking her in the back" so I could see how they handled her. Part of the reason I switched is because I was getting concerns of negligence with our other established clinic, that recently changed ownership and won't let me see how they handle my kitty.Very much appreciate the care by the staff at CPH.

I have trusted Community Pet Hospital with my fur-babies for more than 10 years. They have always had a compassionate & competent staff. The ER services offered at the Washington St office have been life-saving for us. They always follow up with a call after services received & you can tell they care for the animals. Would highly recommend!!!!

I’m so glad I found Community Pet Hospital. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable & very caring for the wellness of my little dog Abba. I’ve been there a few times when she was in a lot of pain & they were able to help her. The vet Pam is awesome!! She answers all my questions & concerns in a calm & reassuring manner. When my dog was barely walking Pam knew exactly the right meds & treatment needed to bring my fur baby back to her normal happy pup that she is. I’ve been to other vets but always felt a little uneasy. I highly recommend CPH.Thank you all again, especially Pam.

We recently had to put our 17 year old lab to sleep in an emergency situation. Community and Riverdale have been so amazing. Also, had great pet care for Mya 12 year old Husky. Dr. Smith is the best. He takes as much time as needed to talk. Highly recommend! Have used them for 11 years.

Wonderful staff! Couldn't ask for better care! Hate to have to go to the vet but when you have to this is the best place!

Bad service. Rude vet tech and the vet didn’t know the answer to a lot of simple questions we had, such as food and getting fixed. Won’t return, pretty terrible

We just started going here and they've been friendly and efficient with our anxious dogs. The office is so quiet and not chaotic like other vets offices.

I felt that the vet and techs were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to communicate with. They answered all my questions and presented options to me in a digestible way. I felt that they cared for my dog in a compassionate manner despite him being difficult during the visit. I also felt that they were respectful of me. Thank you for partnering with me for my pup’s wellbeing!

I really like this place. Its not too close to my house but worth the drive. The vets are nice and seem to know more than the vet I went to before. My poor Popcorn has hyperkeratosis on her paw pads, and the first vet said it was normal because she didn't walk on hard enough surfaces to wear it down. Not the case! It kept growing and was uncomfortable for her to walk on, so I took her here, and they took a sample and looked at it and gave her some topical meds that are helping keep it at bay. Now, the poor thing has greasy fur and weird spots in her ears, and they jumped right on it and did tests and everything. And they are just so good with her, which is good because she's a very skittish kitty.
