“I've been here multiple times and each visit has been great. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they're all just really nice people. I've purchased books, gifts, journals, all kinds of things here. In October I purchased a really nice leather journal for my daughter, and even though she's written in a fair amount of it, it's not showing any wear, which is awesome. I wanted something that would last her a long time and it looks like I made the right choice.And I cannot stress this enough so it bears repeating - the staff is wonderful. All very friendly, they've chatted with myself and my children, and seem very genuine. I haven't had a bad experience at all. I do miss the little cafe, but otherwise, it's a great bookstore.”

“The tattered cover bookstore has been an icon of warmth, fun, reading and shelves of books. It is the finest bookstore between here and California. Its staff are smart and helpful. You can order or find any book in the world. I have enjoyed many afternoons and evenings at the TC. Their little bistro is also a gem. And of course it is right next door to a fine movie theater and twist and shout, the icon of vinyl, music, and movies.I love this place!”

Great selection of books, children's materials, and of course minerals, rocks, gems, etc. We will definitely be back!!”

“Love this little shop. It has a ton of cool books in the front area, and a printing press with tons of art in the back of the store. The store clerk was kind enough to chat with me and give me a tour of the store, and tell me a little bit about the artist who hosts print press classes for the community and makes a majority of the art at the shop. I plan on stopping by again to pick up a book and some cool prints!”

I find all I need here to support our religious life, whether it be gifts, books, incense, statues, cards, veils, etc. I most appreciate the children’s materials that complement our homeschool curriculum. Every single time we have come in here, we are treated like family. My children are welcome, and I am always so happy to see the owners and employees. This is definitely the place to go for a wide selection of goodies.”

“Beautiful metaphysical store with pleasant staff.I have been frequenting this store for maybe three decades.It is always clean and well stocked.The owner is friendly and kind.The store always smells good.I liked the smell so much I bought the product they spray in the store to make it smell so unique.Prices are reasonable.The staff give you plenty of personal space to look around, and browse freely while in the store.I do wish there was more of an educational component to the store with regard to the products they sell.One is referred to Google, or the people who do reading for education.The owner is currently attempting to find a buyer for the store.”

“This is such a special place! Be warned you might end up spending hours here looking through all their books! It’s such a cool concept! They sell hardbacks for $3 and paperbacks for $2. The new books at the front are priced individually though.They take donations and have membership options too! I left with a stack of books, and honestly can’t wait to come back!Did I mention it’s the oldest 2nd hand bookstore in Denver!”

It has saved me a lot of money paying for my books and being able to have them packaged for me for pick up. All of the employees are extremely helpful and kind. I felt so compelled to write this review as today I witnessed another customer who was completely rude and racist to the staff. They handled it with tact and elegance even when the woman tried to throw the receipt at them over a 25 cent price difference.
