Arrived at Apple Jacks at 4:40 pm today purchased a 24 OZ modelo can for my father, went back at 7:00 and purchased myself a 24 OZ can modelo and was refused due to the policy being I can’t purchase more than 1 time a day. Called and supervisor on duty stated the register lady detected an alcohol smell, I was over 25 feet away from the employee as she said she wouldn’t sell so he lied about an “ alcohol smell “ the first can purchased wasn’t even for me which now turns into a discrimination case because the register lady wasn’t going based on her judgment I am a man of color and she’s white so now there’s going to be a lawsuit involved, as neither the supervisor nor the cashier were on the same page lying, lawsuit incoming I was discriminated against !!

Would not sell to my ID-carrying 44yo husband because I didn’t have MY ID with me. I am 48. Reading the reviews, apparently this is common here (although it’s never happened to me before.)What a waste of time, we live 20 minutes away.
edit/response: but thats not a regulation, its a discretionary store policy and should be used with reasonable common sense, or with consistency.

Don’t buy kegs from this location. If the beer is bad it’s on you and they won’t do anything. I understand it won’t happen every time but just spent $163 on an Outer Range In The Steep 1/4 barrel keg and the beer is bad, dark color and flat. No flavor. They won’t do anything about it. It’s on us because we already opened the keg, I guess. I would have expected at least a partial refund but no service. This place will sell bad beer and not back it up. Bad business all around.

I shop and order online for most of my occasional purchases. I use the curbside pickup almost every time, especially if I am shopping for a party. Applejack almost always has the items I'm looking for with a great selection of whiskey, tequila, beer and wine. They sometimes aren't the best on price, but they are the most convenient. For that, 4.5 stars!
