This seems like a nice place to talk about Telluride. Last year (2022), I visited 3 times, once in May, once in July and then in September ..very beautiful, I fell in love immediately, great places to eat, the bars that I been too were ok, the Irish pub seemed less busy which is what I like, some other bars looked like they attracted a younger college crowd which I didn't like. I hiked bridal veil falls trail twice and have so many pictures of this place, there are festivals every week throughout the summer to take the place of the ski season tourism. I love the peaceful vibe and people from all over the world come in. Mountain Village is loaded with shops and a free Gondola will take you from Telluride to Mountain Village. Parking is a problem as it is a small community and they are serious about where you park. Park in the designated meter spots only (1.35 per hour. I think) it's worth it. And you are supporting the town too. I park in main right near the park when I stay. The butcher and the baker seems to be a very popular restaurant as I see people lined up to be served (I've never ate there). The Sheridan is a popular hotel (I never stayed there) I hit the pizza shop down the street on the corner which was really good. It was a great time. And it came at a time where I needed peace, serenity and healing in my life.

Good place to enjoy the hill sledding. Nordic center is located near where we can take rental for the gears at a good price. We took the sled from the center to enjoy hill sledding

What a great family inclusive park which has play equipment, a very nice skatepark, paths leating into town, and even a fishing pond just for kids. Don't forget the pool and many fields.

It may be cliche' but what a lovely urban park. The mountain view is breathtaking and it's conveniently located near the stores of downtown Telluride. Loved the view of the waterfalls and wish next time I'll have time to climb up to Bridal Veil falls or others of the local gems. I've been for a festival but would certainly go back even on a non-event day.Dog-friendliness: Seems great for dogs

The Telluride Blues Festival is flipping fantastic. The view, the people, the volunteers, the vendors and the bands were welcoming and lovely. What a great event this is.

This park is great for camping. During telluride film festival, some free shows will be in this park. It was great to see the show under the stars. Their bathrooms are clean and open to the public not only to the campers. You have to buy the shower time with tokens. Each token ( worth one dollar) gives you 90 seconds. The token Machine takes one dollar, 5 dollar n 10 dollar bills only.

Beautiful, picturesque location for the Telluride Blues and Brews festival. The stage set against the mountain backdrop is something to behold

Beautiful park in Telluride. It has a river moving through it and I could have stayed there all day listening to the running water. Honestly forget the high priced restaurants and touristy shops and art galleries and spend a day at the park.

A rating of two stars means "could've been better" and, in fact, it could have been. The campsite itself is WONDERFUL in so many ways. This negative rating is only due to the host, FRED, whose goal seemingly was to make sure campers did not enjoy themselves. He was described by campers at 4 other campsites as, "Uh oh, this guy is miserable", "He was a j*** to us when we checked in", " He was a total d**khead", and "He is an a**hole". He was all of that and more. I have been camping for decades and have never once had a bad camp host. It is rare to meet someone as negative as Fred. He is aggressive for no reason. He is nosy and questions people unnecessarily. More than unhelpful, he goes out of his way to hurt your experience and make things complicated and a problem at the camp ground when they don't need to be.I have never once written a negative review (even when it was warranted) but after seeing that someone wrote about the negative camp host experience last year, I feel it is necessary in hopes that Telluride Parks and Rec will recognize that it is time for a new host. Based on what the other reviewer wrote, I am guessing she too had Fred as a camp host.I encourage more people to write an honest review of their experiences with Fred so that there is a chance he will be replaced with an acceptable host, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful camping experience Telluride has to offer.

Great park to throw a Frisbee, view the mountains, fish for those 12 and under (for free), there are tennis courts, a swimming pool, restrooms, and two kids playgrounds.

I only saw this place when it was packed with campers at the Bluegrass Festival. But I imagine if it was just a regular weekend, it would be the bomb. Very nice area with amazing views.
