Yesterday, the manager at Ollijurt's sold a piece of medical furniture to an elderly man in his mid-80s. The very same manager promised free removal of the existing furniture so the medical furniture would fit in the living room. Upon delivery of said item, the delivery crew moved the existing couch outside so that they could move the medical furniture in. Afterwards, they decided the existing couch was "too heavy" to continue moving and informed the customer that they would not be taking it any longer. The delivery person stated he did not care what the manager said, that he just didn't feel like moving it due to the weight. This couch, weighing roughly 200+ lbs, is now having to sit in the back yard of the poor old man until he can get family to come in from out of town to help him move it. I spoke with the manager at the store, Ms. Trujillo, and she indicated that she did not care about any promises made, that she is sticking by her delivery driver. It should also be noted that upon inquiring with the store, Ms. Trujillo gave me a copy of the receipt for this customer, with detailed personal information including name, address and phone number.
