Management just changed hands, and I would give them 10 stars if I could. They are working hard to make the necessary improvements needed, and we’re so helpful with questions that I had about my rig that I recently bought. Mike took time out of his day to instruct me with a few things I needed to know about my trailer. I wish them all the best, and know the park will keep improving! I would stay there again if I pass through that area.

The owners are super nice and accommodating. The restrooms and showers are very clean. It is a great place to stop while traveling to rest and shower .

This site is under new management so there is hope for change but for now campers need to know what they are getting. This entire site is extremely run down. Tent spots are sand and weeds with sharp thorns, tiny picnic tables, and some shade. The bathhouse is in very bad condition; no doors lock and few even really close, lights are broken, seats are not attached, shower heads are ridiculously low, and there are cobwebs and bugs and clogged filters and peeling paint everywhere. Bright spot: The showers are hot. The park appears to be inhabited almost exclusively by permanent residents, some of whom are living in dilapidated campers with wild political graffiti, and there is a family member staying in a discarded pop-up camper in the corner surrounded by bike parts. The pool is drained and the playground is straight out of post-Communist Romania. New owner is working hard to improve things and is super friendly and helpful. Best of luck to the new management.

Been living here for awhile, a recent management change has made things notably better. Cleaner grounds and generally more hospitable

Ok RV Park for a single night. Far enough from the interstate to be quiet. Full hookups, pull thru. All dirt and weeds though, the kind of weeds that have prickly seeds that stick to you and your dog's feet. New owners are extremely nice and very eager to please but the park has been neglected and they are working hard to correct the issues.

Conveniently located right off I-76 but run down. One of the three showers in the women's bathroom worked. Water hookups not all working. Permanent residents were very friendly and helpful after a storm brought hail and did some minor damage to our motorhome. Only one dumpster for trash. Pool and spa not available.

Manager is a total jerk. He purposely wants to run people off.
Would not recommend this ghetto place to anyone

Very clean. Location perfect. Close to everything, but far enough away for quiet at night.

As soon as we turned the corner we had a feeling we made a mistake. This is the worst campground I’ve ever been to in 55 years worth of camping. Attendant or owner must smoke in the office. It was horrible. Pool? Empty and weeds a foot high coming out of the concrete. Sites are tight and dirty. Trash everywhere and sewer smell was overpowering. Very unkempt grounds. Cactus in the dogs feet and goat head thorns stepped on. Price was wayyyyyy over what it was worth. Don’t do it.

You could find a worse place if you looked. But you'd have to look pretty hard.We ended up east of Denver, on I-76, dead tired and and needing a place for the night. But we'd been boon-docking and needed a place where we could dump our tanks, too. There really isn't much out that way, so we ended up at the Buffalo Hills RV Park. Most of the sites that were filled were being used by long-term, permanent/semi-permanent residents. None appeared to be sketchy, but their rigs and sites had seen better days. The place looks to have once been a Yogi Bear/Jellystone park that fell long and fell hard. The place needs some big-time TLC. It's pretty wind-swept and a lot of debris and trash has blown in (or been tossed by the residents?) For amenities, there is a playground and.. .no, that's it (unless you coun't the fenced-off, abandoned pool or the equally abandoned horseshoe pit).On the upside, the manager (owner?), Jim, seemed like a nice enough guy. He came out of the (former?) check-in building before we even came to a stop as we drove in and showed us to our site. (We'd pre-paid, so there was no paperwork to fill out.) And the electric, water, and sanitary all worked, so there's that.Overall, though, it's a pretty run-down, depressing place to stay. Like I said, you probably could do worse. Just hope you never have to.

Stayed here for a few months because choices are slim and price was decent. Had my pet there for 4 days and he charged me for the whole month after I had discussed it with him and he said he would waive the pet fees. Manager picks and chooses who he wants to enforce the rules on. All spaces are dirt spots and not a dollar has been invested in years. Good monthly rate if you don’t plan on spending any time outside of your rig while you’re there.

Not much. You park on loose dirt and plug in. No extras. About all are residents, cars/trucks driving in and out quite late. No propane available. It's a place to get off the road if you're tired. Website stated $35 but charged $40 plus tax. Meh
