I was on the last day of my trip with my best friends, a bluebird day at that and I couldn't walk in my boots due to a pain i was getting on my shin. I limped into Surefoot after sending my friend away to ride and was greeted by Brian. He asked me what I needed, took the time to listen and began diagnosing the issue. He identified what we though was the issue and he was able to get me back on the mountain by reworking my liner. I could not have been more grateful for the care, diligence, and professionalism that Brian displayed. Arguably one of the best service/retail experiences I've had in my life. Thanks Brian, cheers to you!

I have very wide feet and was fitted for the widest high performance boot available. Unfortunately after multiple adjustments, they still were uncomfortable at the widest part of my foot. They honored the fit guarantee and gave me a full refund.

Alex was a 10/10 guide on my boot journey. Coming in from a painful day of skiing with a referral from a friend who used Surefoot out of Vail, I was ready to get new boots. Alex greeted me and walked me through the process. After running the imaging, Alex went to look for the proper boot, but there was none in inventory. He then tried to find me a used boot, but none were available either. To his credit, Alex refused to sell me a boot that wasn’t right for me, and instead suggested I try on another upcoming ski trip. Nothing builds trust then being a true trusted advisor like Alex was last night. I’ll refer friends to him and Surefoot for decades to come. I hope I can bring Alex a sale in the future, thanks so much for your time and expertise!

I came in last year with a damaged boot buckle and they were able to get it fixed overnight at no cost. This year I upgraded those boots with a set of boot heaters, which was a little bit more expensive than free, but it's been a game changer on the slopes. Probably the most impactful upgrade I've made to my setup ever.

Alex was so helpful. Walked in there at 3:45 super busy with people getting off the hill, he had me out of there by 4:05 with all my boot issues fixed. I had them worked on by another boot fitter and was unable to do more than one run anytime I went. He made some changes and helped me gain circulation back. Quick, friendly, and helpful.

Todd is the best boot fitter, he is extremely knowledgeable about this, and very professional in his approach to every person that walks in. I had boots fitted in other places for the past 23 - 25 years. Last year I tried new boots in 4 different shops in Steamboat and before that I tried also in Houston in 3 other places. I was in my personal quest to find a performance ski boot that can be really comfortable, my quest ended with exactly what I needed thanks to Todd at Surefoot in Steamboat. I strongly recommend this place

Absolutely incredible.I was a very avid (not great) skier before an accident left me with a significantly damaged left foot needing a skin graft to complete the multiple surgeries to rebuild the ankle.Since then no matter what I tried ( I tried many different approaches) nothing worked as everything was painful and I would not last more than a morning of terrible drudgery.I came to Steamboat with my family and I wanted to try to ski one more time as my daughters were now the age ready for ski school. The usual conveyer belt of ski rental for me commenced. No matter what I tried or said and asked for help nothing worked. The rental boot I ended up with was the best solution in a long line of terrible answers. After one run I got a pressure ulcer. I tried another boot that was worse.I was totally prepared to walk away from skiing. That would have been saddening because I really wanted to share the experience of ⛷ with my daughters.A friend told me about Surefoot years ago. I must have visited the website a 100 times but never did I consider doing it. Just too darn expensive.As I was totally prepared to walk away I thought it would be worth it to at least go talk to the manager Tim about my situation.I walked in. Tim the manager if 17 years was at the counter and was collegial and asked me to take a seat.After an initial inspection of my foot the man nailed the injury and actually named every part of the foot ( including the bone names) that were damaged.At that point I said do your thing. “I thrust you”. After a very elaborate 2 hour process I picked up a pair of boots.Now after ⛷ all day on blues I had absolutely no issue.I walked into Surefoot the day after at 3:30pm and found Tim to shake his hand and tell him that he had given me the privilege to be able to ski again.I mean every word and nobody could pay me enough to write something like this if it was not absolutely 100% true.All the best to those of need of boots.

Todd and staff did a great job of fitting my problem feet. First day was amazing. Felt like I was using power steering. Just as good was putting on the boots the second, third and fourth days. No pain. Worth every cent.

Been getting custom made boots here for 20 years. Would never get ski boots anywhere else. Just invested a pair for my kids cause their feet finally stopped growing. They always are friendly, supportive and go above and beyond! Thanks Todd for outfitting our family!!! ?

This place promises to sell custom boots, it they get you to purchase REI boots for 1000$ more and if they instantly don’t fit you can’t get a refund. Highly highly don’t recommend this place. Get real custom boots. Avoid this at all costs..I coulda bought new boots and a ski pass but instead I got a pair of trash I can’t even wear to the loft. There business model is to inconvenience you into not coming back, awhilePutting money into the sales team and corporate pocket. If your hard to fit don’t go here .
