Received an estimate to fix a vehicle. 3 weeks later when the work was completed the price went up by almost 30% because they "forgot" to quote some things in the original estimate.
Seems like a pretty bad way to run a business. I will be sure to never be a customer of theirs ever again.

In re: the new ownership: I'd give a -10 if I could. New owner forgot for a week to send the estimate to my insurance. I left my car overnight on a Sunday for them to start work on the appointment day, Monday. I discovered early Monday morning via a cc'd email that the estimate came in Friday and would take 3-5 days for approval. I tried from 7 AM to reach Russell's and tell them don't work on my car until it is approved. Mysteriously, they never answered any of my six tries by phone, so I emailed them. By then they already had my car "in the bay and torn apart." I begged my insurer to push the approval through ASAP, which they did. Meanwhile no apology from the new owner Leo, only the comment that he "Would work with me" If I somehow got stuck paying the entire bill (for the hit and run).
When I finally got in my car, it looked like a dust bomb had gone off inside! I Let Leo know and he had the guy vacuum the interior. Never mind that I had detailed the inside of my car Prior to leaving it there. Was stuck waiting 45 minutes while the employee vacuumed the interior. He also had left a large piece of equipment on the rear floor. No apology, No comment that he would make sure employees would not open car windows while cars are in the shop, The only comment was that because they are not a car detailing shop, I can't expect it to be as good as it was when I brought it there.
Everyone will sorely miss Terry! I hope it wasn't a seller finance because Terry will have to come out of retirement!

I ripped off my bumper and scratched the bottom of the car. I call Russell's up in the morning and they said come on down. Great customer service and some lovely conversation. Fixed my car in under an hour. If you wanna support a local business that's also affordable Russell's in the place for you! I'll be baCk with any of my car needs.

Russell's Auto is the best. Phil and his team know what they're doing. Their communication is strong and on point. The only place in town that I use for body work, and I will continue to use them for years to come.

I was driving by and turned in to see if I could get an estimate. The work was for an area of old cracking bondo. When I bought the now 22yo SUV five years ago, I didn't even know there was damage until it started cracking about a year ago. The work had been done before I owned the car. I pulled into the lot where I was met by a man who I think was the owner of Russell's. He did a quick look and said "I don't want the job." I was a little confused, looked around and asked "Isn't this what you do here?" He said "Yes, but I don't want to fix someone else's butcher job." I said thanks and left. An honest and professional interaction would have been really appreciated. I have a restoration of another vehicle coming up. I'm going to look at this in a positive way: I'm glad I'll never have to do business with Russell's.

Phil and Terry were great to deal with, gave me a fair price, and stuck closely to the estimate. I had a sentimental project for an older Japanese car that not every body shop was willing to do, but the team did a great job for me. I highly recommend them.Services: Body & Trim
