A visible, deliberate intent of improvements and updates. Easy access to the Yampa Core river trail provides safe, outside exercise space and limited traffic from one end of Steamboat to the other. Inside gym offers great alt to braving the elements. Included inside bike and ski storage is a welcome perk. Bear scat, and even a bull moose one night, should remind everyone to be smart. (Don't be that tourist...)
When we visit, I spend the week working in our room(vid meeting worthy wifi), w/dogs, while husband works at his local office, and have to say the all-day, fresh coffee is always welcome treat. Plenty of grounds for walking the fur babies. (Remember to take your own bags to cpean up. Don't be a jerk.)
Staff are personable and pleasant in the hotel, and next door at the restaurant. (Don't forget to show your room key for a 10% discount) Almost all staff we come across is smiling, and nobody is rude.
We'll be back!

Got in kinda late, after 10pm. Super nice and clean hotel. They are finishing up some renovations aroudn October of 2024, but I'm sure they will be done soon. It didn't really affect us. SUPER CLEAN and nice rooms with tons of room. Very nice shower and bathroom. Would definitely reccomend this place.

We did not know until arrival that the property is in renovation, and apparently has been for quite some time. We were forced to unload our car in the rain, with no portico or place to park near the back entrance of the property, the only door to access our room. After parking our car, on the complete opposite side of the property, we had to walk in the rain all the way around to the only way in. Even fire exits were blocked by construction. The room was many decades old, with poor plumbing and a rancid smell of smoke and mold. The bed and furnishings were equally old and uncomfortable. Maybe the property will finish renovation and be viable again, but until then, we recommend steering clear of this place.

Room was clean and Tammy at the front desk allowed us a late check out, which is much appreciated as new parents not getting any sleep and traveling with a newborn.
Happy with the renovated rooms, feels clean, looks clean. ? Definitely recommend.

Clean room, they have an indoor place to lock your bikes, 2 pools and 2 hot tubs. Only complaint is that the fan didn't stay on at night. It was loud when on, but only stayed on for a short time and and then would turn back off. It would wake some of us up when it kicked back in.

We had a death in the family. Hotel refunded a non refundable reservation without hesitation. Brandon was helpful and very understanding. Hoping to stay there in the future.

I absolutely love staying here! I am a frequent flyer and come twice a month for work. The rooms are always very clean and quiet and the staff is super friendly! Chris is one of the best front desk representatives and he always has a smile on his face!

Shout out to Tammy who was the associate on duty when we arrived, as well as during our arrival date. Tammy goes well beyond expectations in making sure we were taken care of. So refreshing to have someone actually care about our stay and making sure we're "happy"!
Great location& amenities. Indoor pool was too cold, that's probably one of our few complaints.
Rooms: Nice size rooms.
Nearby activities: Just a few minutes to downtown Steamboat and main ski resort.
Safety: Felt safe with location and security of the building.
Walkability: Probably not walkable to main downtown arra.
Food and drinks: Convenient, both food & drink offered.
Noteworthy details: Great staff

Chris and Keenan were awesome! They greeted us like we were old friends and made sure our entire three day stay was hassle-free and fun. Room was extremely clean. We needed Andy for a fridge problem in our room and the whole thing was resolved in under 15 minutes. We will definitely come back here!

I loved this hotel. Quentin was so accommodating to some challenges we had with the reservation and was warm and welcoming when we arrived. He helped so much! The room was nice and pet friendly. The pool and gym were great, and my kids had a great time! We will be back!!!

After staying here for a week I’ve really grown to love this place. The people at the front desk have been amazing and super kind especially Quentin.
And the Restaurant downstairs is no hole in the wall. Super good service and probably one of the best margarita pizzas I’ve ever had.

**"Exceptional service at Holiday Inn Steamboat Springs!"** Chris at the front desk truly went above and beyond when my car broke down, offering repair recommendations and checking in later to ensure I had everything I needed since I was stranded. He even shared tips on local transportation and was flexible with my stay as I awaited repairs—concierge-level service I didn’t expect! Brandon, the general manager and Quentin who also works the front desk checked on me every time I passed through the lobby. The staff is casual but that is mountain town culture, so don’t let it bug you. The remodeled rooms are spacious, with ample room for my yoga mat, plenty of charging ports, and modern amenities. Super clean and comfortable, Holiday Inn exceeded my expectations!
Rooms: Super clean and modern, quiet, lots of charging ports, lots of surface space to set things down on, room to work on your laptop, plenty of floor space to stretch out. I didn’t have any pets with me, but the hotel is pet friendly and I can imagine that it’s awesome to have plenty of room for pet carriers and other things.
Food and drinks: Harison’s (the adjoined restaurant) opens really early and stays open late. The menu was great. The drinks are well-made. The menu is a little pricier than you might expect, but it’s super convenient and high-quality. They’re happy hour is great, and you can get an inexpensive dinner if you hit the happy hour.

We stayed here for three night which ended up being around $650, which was obviously not worth it since no breakfast is included. In that case we should’ve gone next door but too bad for us. The big white guy up front is so rude, if you are tired of dealing with customers get another job. We spoke over the phone prior to my arrival and he was just so rude and cut me off mid sentence. The rooms are not too clean since there was food on a chair in the corner. The pillow sheets had stains that I’m guessing were candy. The bathroom was horrible. I can see this place was upgraded and is nice, but house keeping needs to make sure to clean them well. The pools were nice they have both inside and outdoor pools. With two hot tubs both inside and outside. They were all nice but they should also definitely be cleaned better. All I saw were bad reviews so we did not go to the restaurant there.

Was so excited about staying at this hotel. Perfect location and great pool. Breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately, the toilet was broken when we got there and after two people tried to fix it, it remained broken and ran all night. The bedding was stained, which I reported and it was replaced. A loud group was in the outdoor pool area an hour after posted closed hours and left a mess behind. Overall, at night and early morning guests were inconsiderate and loud. My biggest complaint by far, which has yet to be addressed even after my request to be contacted, is that there are unauthorized charges to my credit card that are not mine. We never charged anything to the room, because we paid in person at the bar and for breakfast, so these charges are not ours. Also, if you are going to offer a 10% discount on all meals and drinks why isn't it being offered or applied?
