“I spent a few days recuperating at the nearby Legacy resort and this Safeway was conveniently within easy walking (or limping) distance. There isn't a ton of food delivery in the area and I didn't feel like going to a restaurant so I bought most of my meals here and ate in my comfy room.
Prices are about what you would expect at a Safeway/Von's/Albertson's/Jewel-Osco/Et. Al. store in a tourist town. It ain't cheap unless it's on sale.
Staff was friendly enough, they had a decent selection, and the deli wasn't horrible.”

“Welcome to one of the smallest Walmarts you will come across! It's got your general Walmart items you may need but not a wide variety in anything and there is no produce. Great parking, and shares the parking lot with City market which is Kroger and that has produce!”
“We visit Steamboat once or twice a year and this is our go-to grocery store. Overall clean an well organized. Can always find what we need. Often the produce stock is low. We always find what we need but it looks like maybe they have more space than they can stock. For COVID, all staff were wearing masks (required by county) and the aisles were marked for one way traffic. People seemed to be respecting personal space of others.”
“5 stars goes to Paloma the pick up order ecommerce supervisor! She made a courtesy call to inform me that my order was delayed. I walked in and spoke with her and she owned it 100% despite being short staffed and provided me a solution to meet my needs. She was super relatable and very friendly- her work ethic is rare to find in this town she brought out 2 orders at once mine and another persons who had also been waiting due to short staff. Thank you Paloma!?”

“As a visitor as Steamboat Springs, I was looking for the healthiest option and I do believe it natural grocers is that option. They had a wide selection of healthy foods. Their prices were higher than the other local grocery stores, but always worth it to pay more for healthier choices.”
