East West was founded in 1971 right outside of New York City and has its roots in the music and head shop business. Alex came up with the name after listening to a Paul Butterfield Blues Band Album titled “East West” and has remained in its original location since its inception in 1971.
In 2019 We opened up our 2nd shop in Steamboat Springs, CO at 1306 Lincoln Ave.
