Every time we’re in Steamboat we visit this store. It’s locally owned and the clothing and items are all very high quality and reasonably priced. They have great items for women and men. Highly recommended!

400$!!! For a suit rental for prom. What a joke. Way to take advantage of location and supply. No where else to rent suits. I could have bought him a full suit at men’s warehouse for less.

I just bought a new hoodie from this place and not only was the service great, but the hoodie is sooooo comfy and looks rad. I would go here again for sure the next time I pop into Steamboat.

Allen's is a great shop on a normal day, with a solid selection of great mountain wear, but I'm giving this 5 star review based on an abnormal day where Allen's was a lifesaver. After arriving to my hotel for a weekend wedding to discover my suit was neatly hanging 1,000 miles away, I walked (rushed) into Allen's near closing time on a Friday night in a panic and couldn't have been better taken care of. Not only were they extremely nice and incredibly helpful, but I was able to get a truly decent looking suit, with pants tailored in time to attend a wedding where no one knew I picked up the suit hours before the earlier. For a last minute tailored suit or great winter sweater, I'd emphatically recommend Allen's.

Unreal customer service. My boyfriend forgot his studs for his tux for a wedding he was in, and Allen’s let him borrow some last minute. We offered to pay them and they said no, “ just have a good time!” What incredible customer service. Awesome collection of sweaters, hats, and more as well.

Allen's clothing has been a mainstay in Steamboat for over 70 years. They are on their 4th generation of ownership (in their family) and truly the locals store. Because of this, the Allen family really cares about what they sell to you. They have everything from ski socks and ski wear to formal attire and really try to cater to the mountain lifestyle. Last year Kris took over the store from his dad and has over the years really pulled in some great brands. We always like to support Allen's and Kris helped my dad find his favorite clothing brand, Kuhl. Allen's is not your typical steamboat T-shirt shop and they carry some great stuff. Stop in and say hello!
