This place is pure heaven!!! Terry is absolutely wonderful and helped me get a room right away. After days of hunting, it was so nice to take a long, HOT shower. The room is so clean and perfect for my stay. I have Netflix going, while I use their free wifi and eat their complimentary snacks. Couldn't be any better.

On a road trip through Texas and Colorado, and this is by far the best hotel we have stayed at on the trip. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the room is CLEAN. The hotel has a homey feel and great views. Will definitely be staying here during our next trip.

Customer service was great! Location was great! I had clean linen and towels. The price was right! The view was great!
I will base the rest of my opinions on room #7 only.
Please clean the window areas - many cobwebs.
The mattresses were saging and pillows felt like bricks
The dresser drawers need braces. I was worried about the complimentary earplugs. Yes, you can hear your neighbors very well, but my husband's snoring was more of an issue to me.
I know that you can do nothing with the layout on the bathrooms but don't recommend the shower area for bigger guests. I am only 5"7" and my elbows kept hitting the sides and it was difficult to scrub those toes.
Overall, I am thankful for a place to stay and the wonderful hospitality. Wish the restaurant/tavern were open...would have been nice! Blessings

Oh my gosh this place is so cute!!! The lady that I talked to on the phone was so incredibly sweet and was very attentive if we had an issue (which we didn’t really, I texted a few times for questions). Definitely small business owned and felt very homey. The room was super cute, they had fans if it got hot, and a great coffee maker. Definitely will be back if we pass through south fork again!!

Clean, friendly, kinda rustic with a nice outside sitting area, spotless bathroom, clean white sheets on a comfy bed. Exactly what’s needed after a day riding in the mountains. Good restaurant next door, liquor, grocery, and convenience store nearby. ?

Nice hotel, good priced for what we got. No staff at front desk. Breakfast very simple but there was breakfast.Not the hotel I was hoping for traveling with dogs.

Hate to leave a bad review, but this place was the worst highway motel we've ever stayed in three cross country trips. Multiple notes in our room package, in the room, and the lodge door railing against their business situation and blaming everyone from the government to previous guests for it.The complementary breakfast was a joke and we used our own bread to make toast.The office has limited hours and the staff did not answer the phone outside of ice hours.

Owner was very accommodating. If you have a need just ask. We had some very big asks that were satisfied. The breakfast Is no longer made to order, but a very filling continental breakfast. The kids loved the uniqueness of the resort. Great value for what you get. Bring you own toiletries.
