Cliff is the nicest guy. Had some brake rub issues that I couldn't resolve and he walked me through every possible checkpoint until we found resolution. Great blend of patient and knowledgeable!

I've ridden thru Silverton three years in a row while completing the CT on a bicycle. Each time Cliff has been super accommodating with my minor issues to keep my roll going. Bravo! It's great to have him on the trail. Stuff wears out and breaks but if it's fixable and you make it to Silverton you should be able to finish the ride! Check the shop's schedule because they aren't open all week. This is a satellite shop for the Durango Pedal the Peaks...

I broke a cleat plate while riding the Colorado Trail and stopped in to see what could be done. The owner pulled a plate out of a spare set of shoes and loaned the tools required to replace the plate in my shoe. Saved the day and enabled us to finish the Trail. Thanks a bunch!

We rented a pair of electric-assist mountain bikes from Pedal the Peaks. The bikes were a huge help for us in keeping up with locals on the trails.The service from Pedal the Peaks was fantastic. The bikes worked flawlessly. Cliff, the store owner, was very patient in getting us set up and explaining the nuances of these ebikes. His enthusiasm for and knowledge of Silverton biking is amazing and contagious.

Just stopped in on my way out of town, Cliff the store owner is genuinely a good guy and was a pleasure to just chat with. If you want info on biking anything in the San Juan’s, he’s the guy to ask! Stoked to see the progress of Silverton bike trails in the years to come.

I really appreciate how Cliff helped me on a Saturday before closing time when my rear derailleur was shifting wonky as I was coming through town on my through-ride of the Colorado Trail. If he hadn't been there, I would have had to wait until Monday, in the meantime screwing up my bike with my own misguided adjustments.

This is one of the coolest bike shops I've ever seen. Not only is the staff super friendly and helpful, they carry pretty much anything you'd need for a mountain adventure in the San Juans. And this is the only bike shop I've ever seen with a stamped metal ceiling. Definitely worth checking out!

My hub failed in a through-ride of the CT. Cliff, the Silverton store owner, was prepping early morning (7:00am) for an all-day ride with friends at his shop. I walked down to see the store and it's possible capabilities expecting no one to be there there. Cliff graciously opened his shop on the spot and put my bike on a stand. He quickly identified the problem, tore it down, made the repair to keep me going. With his help and professional ability, I was able to finish the CT with my friends.
