The manager that is usually there has no personality, nobody will greet you and it’s pretty much self serve there until you’re ready to check out! I place an order through the app and pick up in store. It says usually 2 hours to get order ready, but I waited 6 and went in thinking it would be ready and it wasn’t. They were annoyed that I was even inquiring about it lol! Nobody was busy so they jumped right on it! Places an order for Christmas and after 2 days I called because I hadn’t gotten a pickup confirmation email. They couldn’t find the order and then found it and got it ready! Next I went in to return a pair of jeans I didn’t like. I used 30$ in rewards. The same lady told me that I can’t get my rewards back. I said well the girl in the Denver store told me you can get the rewards back! She said no I’ve never heard of that and I’ve been here about 3 years, I think is what she said! So I kept the jeans even tho I have no use for them! Then, I go in to do an even exchange on a pair of jeans that were one size too small. I walk in and she is behind the counter. She doesn’t say anything after looking up so I walk up and ask if I can exchange. She said go get the ones you need and come back. I ordered through the app so I have no idea where to look or which ones they are. I asked how I find them. Instead of walking over to help she says they’re in the back. Anyway, an even exchange should be just that! Luckily took my card inside because I had to pay more in tax! Even though I had originally picked up at silverthorne and exchanged in Silverthorne. I called customer service to ask about the rewards and the even exchange! I was correct on both! You do get rewards back and I shouldn’t have been charged anything over for an even exchange at the same store!! If you’re a manager and been there 3 years you should know your job!!

Chelsea the Shift Leader/Manager has always very poor customer service. She barely acknowledges people that need help. If you need help and ask her she always gives you a mean look. Looks like she's forced to work there. Cashiers also have very poor customer service, and always talking loud on the registers. Compare to other locations I've been to this is the worst.

The staff was super disrespectful and did not help us at all. They made their younger staff help us and just kept talking to each other in front of everyone at the register. When the person behind us was trying to pay with them, they went up to the registers and the ladies who were talking told her to wait in the other line behind us. Even if they were on break I feel like they shouldn't be chatting up a storm at the registers. when we were browsing by the checkout aisle there was a lady who was asking if they could scan the price of an item because she was unsure of how much it was. They sent her to go look at the sign where she got it from and didn't bother to help her find out how much it was.

My daughter came in shopping with her friends and was followed arround the store the entire time. After a few minutes an associate approached her and insinuated she was stealing.

Came here with my family my 9 year old son was adjusting his boot and a small shelf fell. My son was putting it back up and A lady came over very rude and told my son very rudely I will do it and told him to not touch anything anymore. My kids are well behaved and this rude lady had no right to speak to my son like that with hate in her eyes and voice. I hate to pull the race card but she was white. Every one should be treated equal and shown respect no matter what color they are or there appearance. I’m very disappointed and will never buy from American eagle again. I hope corporate reads this it’s very disappointing that we still have issues like this in 2022. It’s really sad. We all are equal no one is above the other. Hope this rude lady can soften her rude ugly racist heart!!!!!!

I usually don’t post reviews on google but this is one of the weirdest american eagle’s i’ve ever been in. i came in a few days ago and immediately I saw a worker giving me dirty looks nobody welcomed my family and I in the store but as soon as I walked in I overheard workers talking about one another in very bad ways and it made me feel uncomfortable shopping in the store but it seemed everyone was focused on the clothes they were putting on the walls but I decided to try some stuff on and it seemed as though a young girl opened the fitting room? She struggled to get the door open but she eventually got it, but it made me uncomfortable because it seemed this poor girl was forced to work there. the prices were overall good and the person checking me out was very lovely she was very vibrant and complimented my outfit. I would give this place a 0 because I felt uncomfortable with the little girl, almost felt bad she was running around opening the fitting rooms and the store was very messy as well and the tags are put in weird places which makes it uncomfortable to try on and not to mention the fitting rooms are dull and simple compared to the other american eagles ive been to in denver

They refused to let us shop because my 3 year old wouldn’t wear a mask. The male manager I’m assuming told me if he was two it would be fine and then insisted he put on a mask. I’ve looked everywhere and as far as I can see there is no mandate as of April 2021 requiring 3 year olds to wear masks. I have never since COVID started had this problem. My husband and I are both vaccinated and take rules very seriously.....but a 3 year old that is 6 feet away from anyone in an empty store!!! Seems silly.

Wouldn’t allow me to bring my baby into the fitting room because of Covid not sure what she wanted me to do with him. I understand one person at a time when it comes to adults but infants and small children can’t be left alone.

Knew what I needed when I went in. Didn't take me long to find it. 5/6 associates in the store. Looked like they were resetting. Waited at the check-out for close to ten minutes waiting for one of them to come over and ring me out quick. There was no line. Noticed more than one of them look my way and do nothing except go back to what they were working on. Would definitely talk to them about customer service and how important it is, even if it disrupting their work.
