I cannot bring my brothers into this store without them being yelled at and followed and accused of stealing. They are African American and i’m not gonna say that’s the reason why, but I never have problems in there unless I bring my brothers with me. All the employees will stare at us and follow us around, and it’s extremely uncomfortable and unnecessary, because they have never gotten in trouble for anything in there, and my whole family goes there regularly.

The clear better half of the Dollar General/Family Dollar debate. That being said, it is still plagued with the same issues. It’s often extremely disorganized (along back wall especially). I feel bad for the staff as they’re overwhelmed. Too few hands to run this place!Here’s a solution: let’s close Family Dollar next door & combine into 1 store with enough staff and better selection. Maybe then we can solve some problems!(only kind of kidding—maybe it’d work)

Out of all the stores in Westcliffe, I go to this one most. They always have what I need with the lowest prices. The store is clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

I gave this Store 5 stars because of 2 late afternoon and evening employees, Patrice and Nicole. They are awesome!!! Always super friendly and on top of things. I've seen them have to deal with some pretty rude people when it is nothing they can do about the problem as it's a Company policy and still stay calm.The one thing I will say negative about the Store is the Manager needs to be more on top of maintenance of building, like the leaking roof. Dangerous!
