Dave is one of the nice people I've met . Service was good and timely. I took my boat to valentine's marine on Friday and Saturday it was fixed and ready to go. All the other marine shops had week s or months before they could look at my boat. Dave was a time saver and a all around good guy.

These guys are awesome! I love in Fort Lupton, and everyone I called about throttle cable issues told me over a month out. I called Valentine’s as I have taken my boat there before I moved north. I dropped my boat off two days later around 11am. I received a call about 4pm telling me it was ready. They also fixed some oil leaks and got my speedometer working. Very reasonable price also. I will continue going here even from fort Lupton. Well worth the trip. Thanks guys!

This place is Top-Notch! I bought a used boat from them for a great price.. took it out on the lake and found some things that needed work done.. They had me take it in to them and they fixed everything up and had me back on the lake a week later! Great customer service, awesome quality of work and great pricing! Highly recommend!

I went in to have transom and bellows done. My boat has been sitting 16 years and has visible rotting and cracks in bellows. I was charged for bellows x3 but only one was done. This was stuck on with a ziptie not even a hose clamp- and the hose clamp had a gap in it and the bellow looks like it was gouged with a screwdriver. I have a 5 year old, 2 year old twins and a 1 year old plus 2 dogs. And we are packed and ready to go to powell except now I have no boatand if I took it the way they returned it to me- it would be at the bottom of the lake endangering or possibly killing one of my kids depending on situation when it sunk. This isn't a Karen overreacting post- this is a my boat will sink- you took my money and didn't do the work and being boat mechanics you know the importance of having functional bellows and its the same equivalent as someone getting drunk and driving- you KNOW this will sink a boat but you lie about the repairs and give it back KNOWING and visibly seeing cracks where it was paid to be repaired but you smile in our faces hand us the keys and tell us take the kids out where the water is 600 feet deep with no cell service or help nearby and have a good time out on the lake. That should honestly be criminal.I brought my boat in hood faith and trusted this shop since it had good reviews but the not caring is just mind boggling.

I have been going to these guys for the past few years. The service i get is impeccable, the friendly staff, the quality of work done on my boat is absolutely perfect. They are there for me when I have questions to be asked, they are just great all around. I drive from Pueblo Colorado to Sheridan Colorado, because the service and attention to detail is just that darn good.

I had a wiring problem that was very strange. Trim would not work and the ignition would not turn over. I sent a text to their website to see if they could look at it for me. I told them that i already replaced the fuse and when I did, it immediately blew the fuse again. Much to my surprise, I got a response the next morning telling me to bring it on in. They looked at it right away and tested a few of the obvious things to no avail. The next day they decided that it must be in the control module and found a wire grounded out while they dissembled it. Problem solved. I very much appreciated the effort of the service department and a guy named Dave who stayed in communication with me during the two days that they had my boat in August. Great service. I'll be fishing again tomorrow.

Expensive mistake to have gone here. Buying a new outboard after having my prior, excellent outboard "serviced" for the new season. They left the oil drain screw wide open and it drained out on my patio. I added oil back, but now it dies after 5 min & won't re-start for a while. I took it back in, and they haven't called me - not once - in the 6 wks it's been there. I called once and someone said they'd need to call me back, then mumbled under breath "it's just worn out". I have a sailboat. I use it to get in/out of the marina. It's not worn out. If someone would just actually speak to me, it could be different. I wonder who owns/manages this place, and if they're aware of what a bad joke the service is.

I recently delivered my boat to David Valentine (Owner) of Valentine's Marine for work to be done on my outboard motor. I chose this firm based on being a manufacturer’s certified dealer. I brought my boat in the morning (7:30 am) of 28 JUN 22 with a commitment to have it done the next day (29 JUN 29). On the afternoon of the 29th I called several times without a response. I called again on the morning of the 30th and was told the work had been completed. I picked up the boat mid-day and went directly to the lake to test. The motor failed again (Water in Oil) within 10 minutes of operation. I took it back to them the next morning and ask that they complete the repair. One week later I was advised that they were told by the manufacturer to order a part and that once it arrived, they would repair and return the outboard. I called the manufacturer to confirm their recommendations, only to find out that they recommended evaluating the existing part and if determined to be faulty then to replace. The part was never evaluated, and they only ordered the part which costs $1,252.86. At this point I decided that based on their performance to date that I would pick the boat up and have another certified dealer repair the motor.I did take it to another dealer only to find out that the work Valentine’s performed was shoddy and not to the manufacture’s standard practices. Not only was the work shoddy, but the work was also incomplete and had to be redone. Also, additional work was required to bring the motor back to a point where they could continue with the repair. This cost me an additional $757.44, over and above the base $1,100.00 cost to complete the original repair. My recommendation is to avoid this company and to find another Marine mechanic to repair your boat. David made numerous promises and kept none.

AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTThey worked on my motor from 28 JUN 22 to 12 JUL 22 and never fixed the problem. The manufacturer tried to help them, but they chose not to perform the work in accordance with the manufacture standard practices or recommendations. I took it to another Boat shop, also Mercury certified, and they found the problem within 2 hours and have now fixed it. The work performed by Valentine's was so shoddy that the new boat shop spent roughly $750, just getting the motor back to where they could start to fix the original problem.if you need work done on your boat motor, run don't walk away from Valentines. It will save you grief, money and time in the long run.

Cant say enough on how perfect my purchase and installation of trolling motor, fish finders etc. went. I was dealing long distance, both Dave Valentine and Joe reviewed my wish list, gave guidance and let me know when to purchase the add on equipment to take advantage of better pricing. Installation was professional, clean and exactly where it made sense. I'll be a customer for life.
